If you have children, DO NOT, rent from this property management group. Landlord, Ryan Kile, not only DID NOT refund ANY of the deposit at the end of lease term, he also stated I owe $300, and threatened legal action. When I called to inquire, he stated he had to paint the walls due to children's "HAND PRINTS" and there was a "SKITTLE" stuck in the corner of a wall. And stated that is NOT "normal wear and tear." Mind you, a storm knocked over our fence. He was notified and IT WAS NEVER REPAIRED. For 6 months, we had NO fence to the right side of the home. I do feel we were responsible for damages not listed here, however to charge us for a skittle on the wall?? And you left me feeling unsecure with a broken fence for MONTHS. SERIOUSLY, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

My experience with this company was terrible. I hired Ryan Kile for property management and the property sat empty for approximately 10 weeks. (after which Ryan terminated the contract) During the 10 weeks, Ryan Kile requested that we continue to make costly updates, reduce the price on 3-4 occasions, run the a/c, water, trash collection and hire his choice of maid services. After he terminated our contract, he sent a bill for all of the above services. I would not have chosen this company had I seen the reviews and spoken with other realtors in the area. They have…read moreseveral hundred units under management and have been in this business since the mid 1980's, and they manage several hundred units, so they've mastered this market. The benefit to owners: they're experts at setting rent levels to meet current market conditions and work very hard to attract & retain good tenants. The tenants at my 23 unit building in East Dallas stay an average of three years after moving in, and quite a few have stayed 5 years or more. The lower turn-over rate tells you the tenants are satisfied, and for the landlord this stability translates to a reduction in what I have to spend on marketing and make-ready expenses, not to mention loss of income until that unit is leased. Prospective tenants: look for the Campagna sign as you're scouting for your next apartment. Here at Yelp you might see five or six negative reviews on Yelp now, but over the past few decades thousands of content tenants have lived in Campagna-managed properties, so keep that in mind. Written by an owner who lives out of state and sometimes, for years, out of the country. I have total trust and confidence in everyone who works at Campagna. They've proven themselves to me time & time again since 2008.

They wasted our time, energy, and money, leading us into to fill out an application (with a fee, of course) and hand over every bit of our personal information including medical history, only to turn around and say they don't accept our dogs- the realtor failed to mention that German Shepherd is an "aggressive breed" when I had TOLD them that is the animal I have during the property tour. Unfortunately, they are discriminatory towards disabilities, and they couldn't care LESS about anything you have to say. I would hate for anyone else to be treated the way we did. I wouldn't give these people a single cent more, and I hope no one else does either.
