When I get my meal (mind you I was already waiting over 15 minutes) and the worker Sheila handed me the bag and there were two burritos. I said why is there two burritos and she was saying I ordered two. No I did not, I said I ordered ONE California surf and turf burrito. And she kept saying "no I ordered a California burrito AND and CALI surf and turf" we kept going at it and I was literally trying to explain to her I ordered ONE burrito. She proceeded to roll her eyes at me several times and then spoke to me in English and when she was getting frustrated with me started speaking to me in Spanish. I was speaking to her in English this whole time, and she kept speaking to me in Spanish and then English and then Spanish again. I kept saying to her I don't understand what you are saying I don't speak Spanish. Then continued to roll her eyes at me! She finally asked if I wanted a refund and I said I don't care at this point, I was trying to explain to her I literally ordered ONE California surf and turf burrito and kept saying NO to me, that it's called "cali" surf and turf. Sheila, do you not understand that Cali is short for California? if I wanted just a California burrito only, I would NOT have said California surf and turf. She never said "I'm sorry" or apologized for not hearing my order correctly or taking any fault for her lack of professionalism and lack of customer service. I would've been fine if she said, oh I'm sorry I thought you wanted two different types of burritos I misunderstood.. but no she kept saying I was wrong and proceeded to give me disgusting lip and body language. I really do hope the store management sees this. She shouldn't be speaking to customers with that tone.

My wife and I use to frequent this place YEARS ago, the service was good and the food was good,…read moreyears later we decided to go back & mannn the food quality & service has went down terribly! Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck. "The Earths Best Taco" they say... that's a stretch!

Today Cilantro Mexican fusion came to our neighborhood to sell delicious foods. I ordered carne…read moreasada fries, fideo loco and asada mini tacos. I was able to preorder so I wouldn't have to wait in line. The menu online was easy to read and order was easy as well. Menu prices were decent for a food truck. Asada fries were $10 fideo loco $10 and asada tacos (4) $8. I first tried the fries... so I thought it came with sour cream and alll the yummy fixings that traditional asada fries comes with... well that's extra I guess and needs to be added in the extras menu when ordering. I did not know this and just ordered as is. Only came with fries, carne asada and cheese. I had sour cream and salsa verde here at home so I dressed it up a little. The fries were more like McDonald's or whataburger fries. Thin and not fresh cut. I was expecting fresh cut fries. The taste was pretty good. I did like the asada flavor. Fideo loco was very good. Had the traditional fideo and extras. So the extras came with meat, beans, veggies and potatoes. Wow I enjoyed every bite. Flavor was amazing. I would definitely order again. The mini tacos were very great. I'm a sucker for carne asada when it comes to tacos. There are other options like pastor and Barbacoa... I settled for the asada. Once again the meat was generously proportioned. It did come with double corn tortilla some cilantro, white diced onion, limes and a green salsa and red salsa. Each bite was delicious. I didn't want it to end. The green salsa was very mild but has amazing flavor. At first the red salsa tasted good on the taco and I didn't feel any heat from it. But... a minute later was a different story. It wasn't too spicy but it's one of those salsa's that get you when you least expect it. That's when you know this is some good stuff. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu. I have 4 out 5 stars only because I wasn't too impressed with the fries I ordered. I would recommend this food truck to everyone.
