Not only do they teach the kids ABC's and 123's but they teach them foreign language and Hawaiian. You cannot put a price tag on the future potential of being bi-lingual or tri-lingual! They also reinforce potty training and good nutrition. The major aha moment...my child asks to go back every-time we drive by. That says something meaningful coming from a toddler!

From entering the school to taking our boys to their class it was all smiles and good morning always filled with aloha. We knew our kids were not only being taken care of but loved. Every single staff would know/call our boys by their name. The director was always approachable, addressed us by our names and was always present in my kid's life until last December 2025 when while on our vacation we heard she was no longer there. To our surprise the entire front staff was gone. Keypads were installed, no colorful office , no aloha, no smiles ... felt like going to a business building ? Cold, quiet ... sad. Luckily my oldest left last year but my young is still a student there. Needless to say from January 2026 it's been terrible. Director Monica haven't emailed us back since January , horrible communication, changes in tuition and overcharges ... I wish I could've pulled my kid back in January ... so if you haven't : DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD AT COLE ACADEMY!!! I heard seagull in Ko'olina is accepting new students 12 months and older ! Find a place that your child will be treated with love and you as a parent with aloha and respect. I'm writing as a parent but let me tell the stories I heard from teachers make it even worse . Loyal and caring teachers that left because they can't deal with management anymore. Feel free to reach out if you need more info!

He was immediately tested for his grade level in all subjects. His test scores in Math showed that he was below the National average for his age and grade level. This is something that we already new, since his Math skills were very poor. The first year at Corvid was a struggle because he needed to catch up to his grade level and stay current with all other subjects. He finished the year not only testing at his grade level for Math, but excelling and surpassing his grade level in other subjects. Our son is now a High School Junior at Corvid Academy. He is on his way to graduating next year! Not only has he been able to excel in his studies, he also has the opportunity to gain public speaking, power point presentations and teaching skills. The highlight of his experience at Corvid Academy has been his participation in the amazing yearly Theater Productions. Through the direction of Ms. Shannon Sofa, Corvid Academy has put on spectacular full production musical plays such as "West Side Story". Our son has played major roles in "Grease" and "Disney". They students are now working on the biggest production yet...."Newsies"! I would have never thought that our son would act, sing and dance,be on a big stage, and learn backstage production! Performing has become his passion! We are very happy with Corvid Academy. We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Sofa for creating this amazing school. They and their staff, truly care about all of their students!

I'm a personal alumni of Corvid Academy, and all I can really say is that I honestly miss the…read moreschool. This school has impacted me on not only my school life but personal life. Being placed in that school was probably the best thing that my parents could have done for me. I'm not gonna lie and say that going to that school was a perfect experience, because it wasn't. When I first started, I was supposed to be placed in 5th grade, but due to low testing scores was placed a year back. I had a terrible problem with math first coming Corvid. I was a 4th grader who couldn't do simple subtraction, but through numerous one-on-one time with Mr. Johnathan (a teacher at the time) and Mrs. Sofa, I eventually got the hang of it. They took my strength, reading comprehension, and wrote out instructions on how to do it for me to read it and I got it! They then began to do this for each of my math difficulties. I stayed there for the rest of my grades and slowly but surely got caught back up. It was not easy, there were times when I fell behind and thought that I should just give up, but I can guarantee tell you that the teachers do NOT give up on you. No matter how difficult you may be. There were times where I wasn't a good student and I did some things, but they never turned their back on me. Mrs. Sofa cares so much about her students and she wants to see each and every one succeed, even hard-headed students like myself. I believe that I was a junior in High school when Mrs. Sofa and I had a personal talk about what I should do after High School. She suggested that since I wasn't as strong in Math, that I should become an English teacher. She was always telling me how good I was with my English skills and comprehension, so I really took that to heart. She was not the only one who really made an impact on me. Mrs. Shannon also did. She's like a big sister (or even a mom) to me. She's always be there for me to talk to when I felt like I couldn't talk to anyone. She was always there to make sure that I was on track to graduating and when I fell behind she made sure to get me caught up. She made countless schedules and made sure I kept up with them and helped me with the hard lessons. She's also the very one who brought musical theater into my life. She really believed in me and cast me as "Anita" in the production of "West Side Story", "Rizzo" in "Grease", and even the lead of Peter Pan in "Disney Enchanted Dreams." She worked constantly with me on each role. From rolling my r's to becoming more young-boy-like, she was there constantly helping me to perfect my singing and acting. Then there was also Ms. Mary, she's the High School TA, I have to give her props. She's always their making sure we know what we have to be on, and she's always updating our weekly lists so that we don't get behind. Even if we do get behind, she's always there to help make a list to get us back on track. She's aIso an amazing confidant to talk to. I've had a lot of talks and vents with her, and she gives amazing advice that I always take to heart. I will forever be grateful for everything that Corvid has done for me and I will never forget the memories that I made here. I'm currently at Leeward Community College and getting my associates in Secondary Teaching. I hope to transfer to a 4-year-college after my 2 years. I sometimes come by to help out with the kids to get volunteer hours for a college class, and I hope to do more in the future. I like to think of it as giving back to the school for all those years. I don't think I could ever really leave the school, the teachers and faculty have really become like family to me. I credit where I am today to Corvid Academy.

Kapolei Speech Solutions are always kind and welcoming. They fit us perfectly into their schedule…read more The staff treats you like family, it's not just a job for them. I highly recommend to any family in need of support.

My child's pediatrician said she heard of this place and should check it out for my baby. I called…read morethem and they accepted my baby's insurance. They were sent a referral from the doctor and called me within days regarding the referral. I spoke to Tara who said she would be emailing me forms to fill out and once they were all done then they would schedule my baby. While filling out the forms there was so many consent forms, one I came across wanted my signature to allow them to use my baby's pictures, videos, and any case inform for education and research purposes and that's fine for some people but we also have patient rights and I knew that I didn't have to consent to that. So I skipped that one. Then another consent form I read was a release to hold harmless. And I've seen consents releasing liability before but the verbiage in this specific consent form made me uncomfortable. It says "release and agree to indemnify, protect and hold harmless, Speech Solutions; LLC and its therapists and volunteers, and all private persons or organizations providing services for Speech Solutions; LLC from any claim or liability whatsoever, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, property damage, court costs, attorney fees and interest, however caused, including the negligence of Speech Solutions; LLC, as a result of the clients participation in activities." Release ANY claim or liability WHATSOEVER, including BUT NOT LIMITED to, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE,....HOWEVER CAUSED, including the NEGLIGENCE of SS LLC. That is absurd. I understand liability on a company but the way it's stated is insane. I would NEVER release harm of anyone causing harm or death or injury to my baby however caused by the negligence of their company or any company. I wasn't able to submit the forms because I didn't sign the two consents. I called SS and spoke to Tara and explained my concerns, she said it a few times over that unfortunately they can't schedule my baby because I won't sign the two consent forms. I asked to speak to the owner of the company to discuss my concerns and Tara said she would give the owner Carolinda my name and number. 10 minutes later I got a call from Tara and she said she spoke to the owner and that Carolinda, the owner said the picture/video consent is optional but the release of harm is required and they can't schedule my baby unless I sign it. Tara said Carolinda said the point of that consent is because they have a lot of disabled kids that go there and if one of them was running and fell then they don't want to be liable. I get that part but that scenario does not explain the verbiage of that consent form. Tara even tried to downplay my concerns by saying "everyone has those kinds of consents, those are the regular ones". No! That release of harm is NOT normal. Not even when I take my kids to fun factory or the carnival do they make me sign something like that and they could get hurt at those places way more than they could at speech therapy. And it says a lot when the owner couldn't even pick up the phone to address my concerns but sends Tara to call me with some generic response. PLEASE read everything before you sign especially regarding your children. BEWARE of this place. Something is really wrong.
