Worst health care I have ever experienced. I had gone here because I had a sebaceous cyst that got…read morere-infected. Keep in mind that I already had it looked at before at a different ER, and had it diagnosed as a sebaceous cyst, but doctor Ravichandran at Mercy Health wouldn't listen to me and told me in a rude fashion that it "doesn't look like a sebaceous cyst." She instead wanted to refer me to a head and neck specialist (not who you'd want to see for a sebaceous cyst). Fast forward a few months and my dermatologist looks at it and finally removes it. Turns out it was a sebaceous cyst the whole time and doctor Ravichandran at Mercy literally attempted to un-diagnose me. There have also been times where the staff has given me contradictory information about the services at Mercy -- I was told that they have urgent care on the phone, and then the staff at the front desk looked at me strangely when I asked about it and they told me that they don't have urgent care. I eventually told this in person to whom I'd earlier been on the phone with, and heard them get scolded by the other staff for telling me that they have an urgent care... Rather strange. I would avoid Mercy health at all costs unless you have an absolute emergency. This place has no idea how to run itself nor help people.

He was very professional, concerned and nice. He felt and looked at my daughter's arm and gave it a few moves, he knew it was out of socket and he put it back in place in just a few seconds. My daughter cried at first, but realized her arm was better and she was very happy moving her arm like nothing was ever wrong with it. The doctor did comfort her as well. Over the years I've been to a lot of doctors and was always told everything was fine, so I didn't even bring up a lot of my concerns, but he noticed a few things in my medical history and sent me for some tests. It turns out I have PCOS, which no doctor has ever told me about, let alone bothered to test me. He also took time to go over relaxation and meditation techniques with me when I told him I was having anxiety. I also appreciate the fact that he actually practices both gynecology and OB -- I can continue going to him for my regular checkups, and if I want to have more kids I don't have to find another doctor. One thing you need to be aware of is that Dr Essel is from Ghana, and therefore has a bit of an accent. I understood him perfectly well, but I did have to concentrate closely on what he said. May not be the best choice for someone who has trouble with accents.
