Applying strict rules to everything restricts kids imagination but that doesn't mean that they are not given structure. As far as I've seen, they keep the kids active during the summer, and whenever weather permits during the winter. I like that they don't have TV and their playground is great. They are right across from a park so they go there during the summer sometimes. The only thing Im not too happy about is when I've called to let them know about something, I feel like i'm always rushed by the person at the other end.

I asked other daycares I called if the teachers were planning to get vaccinated - some places just answered: we can't make them, so we don't even ask! Which I know, but that's not enough for me! Our son started here at 18 months! And we have been here for almost 3 months now. They told us that there would be a transition time for him and the parents and they were so right. But we found that they paid attention to the small stuff and saw he was connecting to a certain teacher and that has really helped feel more at home! I really love how they have a mobile app that gives the parents up dates through the day on what the kids are doing, eating, playing with, learning, and how nap times and diaper changes go! And they send you photos! That really helps the parents feel good about how these long days are going. The meals are varied and so are the snacks! They have both indoor and outdoor time and the school is very clean! The staff is very informative and friendly and I always feel great about dropping him off there! The parents get their own safety code for the door so they can drop by anytime they like! Ms. Megan's classroom occassionally teams up with Ms.Nina's and her Efforts with her classroom are noticible. She is creative, playful and intentional- both women are. Nilsson my son really loved getting in the pool and learning a few things! They did songs, and taught them some safety things, and did some swimming and jumping in the pool all by themselves! He liked the jumping into the pool best I think! Parents are in the pool with the kids and its a really fun half hour class that always ends with some free swimming! Locker rooms are super nice by the pool and they have swimsuit dryers which I had never seen before! This cost is extra, but you can take these classes even without a membership! Good stuff!
