He had been in a daycare before this, in Norwalk, that had been getting him ready for preschool. My child came to Kingdom Kids for about a week before I pulled him out. My mom witnessed a "teacher" pulling my son by the arm and yelling at him for not picking up. My mom then grabbed my son away from her and he never went back. I am positive that more abuse occurred. It took forever for my child to transition into another daycare after the abuse. Another note is that none of their curriculum was geared towards kindergarten and with paying over 600.00 a month for one child you had better be teaching them something. The "teachers" are over weight, lazy and always sitting. The room was filthy dirty. Don't waste your time even viewing this daycare. The room stank and the chairs and table were covered in dirt. When I went to view they stated it was like that because they had some outdoor activity and the kids had dirtied up the chairs. I soon realized it is usually more dirty then during my scheduled visit.

They aren't allowed any sick or vacation days. And the people in charge of the business are never there and can't be reached at all. Maybe someone should turn them in for what kind of business they run. The only thing that keeps them afloat is the good teachers that do as much as they can before they are abused and find a better position.

Our son started here at 18 months! And we have been here for almost 3 months now. They told us that there would be a transition time for him and the parents and they were so right. But we found that they paid attention to the small stuff and saw he was connecting to a certain teacher and that has really helped feel more at home! I really love how they have a mobile app that gives the parents up dates through the day on what the kids are doing, eating, playing with, learning, and how nap times and diaper changes go! And they send you photos! That really helps the parents feel good about how these long days are going. The meals are varied and so are the snacks! They have both indoor and outdoor time and the school is very clean! The staff is very informative and friendly and I always feel great about dropping him off there! The parents get their own safety code for the door so they can drop by anytime they like! It might be a bit more expensive that other places, but you get what you pay for and I couldn't be happier with our decision. Our song even looks forward to giving the little Apple Tree Bear on the sign a High Five when dropping off or picking him up! Oh so fun! I feel he is developing skills here he would not get at home with busy parents working. And that feels good! The memories that will be made here!

Recently did the swimming class for 2 year olds and I must say it was fantastic…read more. Each week there was a different teacher, so each week was different. Nilsson my son really loved getting in the pool and learning a few things! They did songs, and taught them some safety things, and did some swimming and jumping in the pool all by themselves! He liked the jumping into the pool best I think! Parents are in the pool with the kids and its a really fun half hour class that always ends with some free swimming! Locker rooms are super nice by the pool and they have swimsuit dryers which I had never seen before! This cost is extra, but you can take these classes even without a membership! Good stuff!
