I really enjoyed all the play stations here, this is definitely geared towards little ones around 3-5 years old. They have a tiny tot area where they have soft play area for babies and infants. Then they have an older area with miniature town, slide and other science stem activities. They also have a kitchens are, a music area, a play stage where they have story time. The water play area looks fun for older kids. They have a mechanical dinosaur inside. I hear in the summer they have bubble stations and outdoor fun foam play blocks. Looking forward to coming back.

Tumble Jungle is the perfect place for us. We have a monthly membership and attend the morning "Baboons" class almost every day. It's free play followed by some structured activities. My son has really come out of his shell and is learning so much. The instructors Isabel and Andrea are also fantastic and so good with the kids. Truly recommend this place. I'm going to miss it when I have to go back to work but I know our nanny will continue to bring my son and eventually my daughter as well!

They were expecting us and helped all of our guests with a SMILE! Jackie was one of our party hosts, I felt like she knew my daughter from the past. Request Jackie for your parties. I would also like to bring her in to use their facilities at another time. Clean, reasonable, pizza was good, we were not rushed. Overall great experience!

For its size, they have a great variety of touch tanks -- from jellyfish to sturgeon to stingrays -- and my son felt brave enough to touch almost everything this time and loved it. I also appreciate that there are hand-washing stations everywhere. We love the jellyfish exhibits, and the shark tank is very cool -- this visit we even got to see a diver inside answering questions. They offer short 4D movies for $8, though it may be better for older kids (my 2-year-old got a little scared). Paid parking is across the street, and overall it's an easy, fun outing for families. We've heard they offer overnight experiences too and might try that next time!

The jellyfish were memorizing to watch and we were estatic to see sea horses! They have sharks, seals, turtles and all kinds of fish to look at. The staff was very knowledgeable and passionate about their work and the mission of the aquarium and they are happy to answer any questions. It makes for a nice day for families with children or even adults only. Not too much walking, but enough to get some energy out. There is an elevator. There is a cafe with snacks and sandwiches, a gift shop, and water refilling stations so bring your reusable water bottle. Restrooms too and they were clean. The Imax theater is an extra cost and parking is across the street in a pay to park garage for the aquarium.

This is a fantastic little park, adjacent to the Norwalk Aquarium on Water Street…read more There's a small free parking lot and a playground, which is kind of in a difficult spot right now because unfortunately construction workers nearby are using it as their parking lot to avoid the parking fees, but there's street parking along Water Street, or you could park in the garage for the Aquarium. Anyway, like I said there's a nice little playground structure, and there were kids having a fun time when I visited. Beyond that, there are a couple of trails that lead out into the park itself, which is a large mound. This mound was, once upon a time, the town garbage dump. But as so often happens around the country, yesterday's garbage dump is today's cool park, and that's definitely the case here. There's a path that goes around the bottom, and another trail that links to that, going up the top of the mound. There's a lot of interesting art sculptures from the top, and views of the Norwalk River and surrounding area. There's another trail that links into and is cosigned as both the Norwalk River Valley Trail and the Norwalk Harbor Loop Trail. Both of those trails link this park to the Pine Island Cemetery, Matthews Park, and the Stepping Stones Children's Museum, on the other side of 95 and the RR tracks. This is definitely a great park to visit and to work off some energy if you have kids that just haven't been tired out enough by the Aquarium.

They brought music and items for games and helped us to have a really great time! It is EXHAUSTING running around in those balls. I took away a star because the balls kept losing air and needed to be refilled after games. The guys said they get new balls annually, so some of them were showing age I guess. We had a really good time, and it was a fun and different activity! Definitely worthwhile checking out with these guys!

Science Museum of Long Island on Plandome road in Manhasset is a place to visit on a nice day…read more Good for the family. Use GPS as there are some winding hilly roads to get there. Follow the signs. Thereis parking to the side of the main house. This visit had a tour of plants . There is a pond, fire pit and picnic tables throughout the area.it is a nature preserve park with many native plants along with some for sale. I suggest wearing a hat and sunscreen. While there are paths, sturdy shoes or work boots are good too along with a bottle of water. I did sera sign for bathrooms as well. They have a compost pile on the side.if you happen to have peelings from vegetables feel free to drop them off on your visit and learn how they make black gold for the soil.

We had a group of about 15 Cub scouts there finishing the ferns and animal related topic badge. The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.
