I love coming here for walks and soaking up the panoramic views of the coastline. Benches are stationed throughout the park to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, some areas have been gated off for safety reasons due to the foundation of the hillside. If you want to venture down to the beach, just look for the wooden archway. The stairway will lead you down to the shoreline. Occasionally high tides won't allow you to venture down, so just be aware of that. The beach itself is rocky, and sometimes full of debris so bring comfy shoes! This spot is ideal for families, walkers, and even solo relaxation. I recommend bringing a small bag for special sea treasures that you may find during your visit. I always enjoy looking for sea shells, sea glass and heart shaped rocks. The rock formations here are always breathtaking during low tides so be sure to bring a camera or have your phone fully charged. Overall, Shoreline Park is my top favorite in town and a must-visit for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. It's also a dog friendly park, so bring your fur baby as well.

The park was very clean and I could tell it had a good maintenance crew as I did not see a single price of trash. They also have bathroom as well which were clean as well. There is a large grass area as well and would make good for a fun picnic . The only thing I would change is to add some shaded covered areas as there were none and I can imagine it gets really hot in the summer.

As we were heading to park we discovered a 9 hole disc golf course is also on property. I'm telling you this park packs a punch. Disc golf, hiking trails, baseball fields, mountain biking wonderland, Remote Control tracks, landing zone for drones/radio planes, so much to explore! We hiked then did the 9 hole course for disc golf and it was awesome! What a gem to have for those who are local. The hiking trails take you over the road to Douglas Family Preserve which was beautifully maintained and allowed doggies to be off leash living their best life. Such a great local resource to take advantage of all that sculpted nature! Beautiful effort from the community.
