Sporadische pareltjes maken veel goed: deze nog steeds gebruikte sporthal is de grootste overblijver van Expo '58 (na het Atomium) en is een spectaculair ontwerp met een gekromd houten gebint. I visited with two kids, 5 and 6 years old. They are very sportive, both of them are able and love to swim. Even when the weather is a bit cold. However, today, after 30 minutes they asked me to leave, they were shaking. And I have heard couple of other parents saying the same. All the kids had blue mouths. The monitor showed temperature of 28 degrees both for water and air. But apparently, it was not the case. I was highly disappointed as we go to swim with the kids almost every weekend, they stay in the pool usually around 2 hours and now I promised them that it is going to be great. And it was not. It was not crowded, however, I am sure that the reason parents do not come in a bigger number is a cold temperature.

Like the Crocodile Café and the floating bus: 'Crocodille Rouge', but especially the Aquacentre nearby is a must when your there. The service is very good and they also try to speak your language when you order your meal in the restaurant next to it! As a biker I enjoyed the food and ofcourse the atmosphere while I was there. The location, the people and ofcourse the roads are perfect to spend the holidays at! For bikers and ofcourse people who like the woods and being in the nature I recommend this place as a MUST visit when your in our awesome "Belgische Ardennen"! Tip: Don't go on a very hot day... There are also possibilities to learn about the history and the 'why' of this area that offers such beautiful landscapes. From the high tower of the dam, we enjoy this wonderful region full of lakes, rivers and valleys. We can go for one or more days, or maybe for the weekend. There are multiple possibilities for accommodation: the golden lakes village : amazing cottages with a nice teras with a view on the lake. All this in the middle of serpent-like rivers and reeds.
