I visited almost everywhere in the area (some of them 2-3 times) before making my decision. TLE Redlands was the first and only place that truly felt right to me, and giving a chance has honestly been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my daughter. From the managers to her teachers and every assistant teacher, everyone is incredibly warm, genuine, caring, and supportive. You can tell that they truly love the children and care for them as if they were their own. For me, the biggest thing is peace of mind. When I leave my daughter there, I don't spend the day worrying about her. I know she is loved, cared for, and in good hands and that means everything to a mom like me. She loves her teachers and she feels comfortable and safe! I genuinely believe it it one of the best childcare centers in CA! Thank you to the entire TLE Redlands team for taking such wonderful care of my little girl!

Truly heaven sent! We were struggling finding a good, reliable and trustworthy place that made us feel comfortable to leave the 2of the 3 littles at. This facility is truly the best and the people are even better! All of them from the infants, twaddlers, to pre school knew our littles and poured into them with such care and love! Our littles truly enjoyed going to school everyday and being with such caring and loving people!! Thank you to Shannon and Heather and the whole staff for taking care of us and being so supportive of our family during this time!! We couldn't have done it without any of you!!

If you have EBT, WIC etc. you get in for $5/person so definitely would do that if you have it! I love how big it is, and that is has different buildings for different activities. They also have a nice outdoor picnic area that has benches to have lunch/snacks. Plenty of space for kids to run around (outside) and explore. If its your first time just know youll be there for a couple of hours. The only con I would say is they dont allow strollers inside the buildings (theres a parking area for them in the front if needed). So if you have a baby make sure to bring a baby carrier. I understand why they have that policy, but it just makes it a little hard for parents with small babies. P.S. make sure you say hi to their tortoises outside!

I've been coming to the YMCA consistently since my son was about six months old, he's four now! I…read morefirst joined because my friends told me about the two hours of free childcare included with membership, and as a new mom, that sounded amazing. At the time, our income was low, but the Y offered scholarships, which made it possible for us to join. We received a 50% scholarship, and it truly was a blessing. It gave me time to work out, take classes, and just have a little "me time" while my baby was safe and cared for. Now that my son is in preschool, I have the flexibility to come at any time, and I love that freedom. The childcare hours used to be limited to mornings (around 8 to 12) and a bit in the afternoon (around 3:30), but now I just come whenever I can. I usually do my own workouts since the group class times don't always fit my schedule, but there's such a great variety, swimming, tap, pilates, fusion, and so much more. Another thing I love is the sense of community. I often see friends from church here, and it feels like an extension of that family atmosphere. The staff is generally friendly, though a few could be a bit more personable, but overall, they're helpful and kind. For the value, variety, and community, the YMCA has been such a big part of my life these past few years. I'm so grateful for it, and I can honestly say, I love the Y!

I got a membership at the Redlands YMCA during a special they were running last spring with the…read morefirst two months at half price. After that, even with a senior discount, I would be paying more than what I was paying at LA Fitness. After I was done signing up with the clerk at the desk, she said, "You're all set," and just stood there. I also just stood there. After a couple minutes I asked if someone was going to show me around the facility. She seemed a bit surprised by the request but she did agree to give me brief tour of the place, which was in need of upkeep and upgrading. Again, it was springtime when I signed up and during the initial tour of the facility, we walked by the outdoor pool. It was a beautiful sunny day and the pool looked very inviting but i noticed there were only pool toys floating in it. I asked why there was no one in the pool and I was told the outdoor pool is only open in summer. I was stunned. Redlands is in the low desert of southern California. For goodness sake! The pool should have been open, but since it wasn't, why were there pool toys floating in it? Had they been there since the pool closed last year? Then she took me to the women's locker room. I opened the door and immediately saw into the locker room. Yes, you read that correctly. From the hallway, where anyone could be standing or walking, you open the door and you see directly into the women's locker room! Clearly, the layout of the banks of lockers is incorrect and needs to be reconfigured so that there is privacy. I cannot understand how the current layout is allowed or tolerated. It was a no-go for me. Don't even get me started on the gym and its configuration problems. The machines are way too close together and on top of that, they are facing each other. I've never seen anything like it. It must have been designed by the same person who set up the women's locker room. That person has clearly never seen a proper locker room or gym before. I was very uncomfortable using the machines in that gym. I didn't stick around long enough to take any classes. Honestly, I gave the Redlands YMCA a try but there are just far too many issues with it that need to be addressed. I cancelled my membership after my fourth visit there. I am being generous in giving the place two stars. Do yourself a favor and get a membership to pretty much any other gym in the area. You'll thank me later.

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!…read more My husband and I dreamed of a wedding where everyone could stay together onsite, immersed in nature, with no worries about driving after a night of fun, and Camp Osito Rancho made that dream a reality. Our families stayed in the health center, lodge, and electrified cabins, while our friends embraced the adventure of summer cabins and tents. The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival. If you're up for planning the details, this venue is the ultimate blank canvas. Last but not least, the Camp Osito Rancho team is absolutely amazing. A huge thanks to Angel for her help throughout the year, Ryan for his help throughout the weekend, and to Gerardo for the tour that sold us from the start. For a wedding that feels like an unforgettable getaway, this place is pure magic

Cedarbrook Camp Southern California (formerly known as Camp Cherith Southern California) is an interdenominational Christian camp located in the beautiful San Bernardino mountains above Redlands I have been a camp counselor with Cedarbrook for 3 years and I have enjoyed every minute of my time there. I have had both my children attend Cedarbrook, and they both love it. I must say that this camp is run like a family. The love and support that all staff show for each other as well as the campers is amazing, The age range of the staff ranges from 18 through 50+. The campers and staff receive three generous meals a day. The activities prepared for the campers are challenging and exciting. I think the best part of this camp is the focus on Jesus. Everywhere the campers go, play, and eat campers are learning about Jesus. This is a great place to bring your child. The actual site of the camp is on the website.
