I liked that there was an option to have the room and clues be facilitated in French or English. Our game master was really cool and we did the Cabin room. We were so close to finishing, but unfortunately didn't make it out in time. My main and only complaint was that the rooms here are only 45 minutes long instead of the usual hour. I think that if we were given a full hour, we probably would've been able to figure out the final couple puzzles left to make it out of the room. I did like that they allow you to do the rooms with your own group and don't mix you up with other people in order to fill the room to the maximum number allowed.

Tried my first escape room ever!! Honestly I had no idea what to expect and the room we booked was…read morethe hardest so I already knew we would fail. But I was determined to have a good time anyway. Since we booked one day in advance, only pirate ship was left and I knew it involved lots of locks from previous yelp reviews. I had also read some general tips about escape rooms beforehand and knew to look everywhere and to think outside the box. We get to the place and buzz 101 to get in. We are given a locker to put our things in and we then signed in and paid, went to the bathroom, and got our instructions. It's a very well made and well organized place. For $25, I had a lot of fun and so did my friends. If you don't wanna know too much about the pirate ship one, don't read this part. Since this room is hard we are given a boost. We can choose the red serum which can add anywhere from 1-10 minutes extra or one extra hint at the beginning of the mission (normally you get 3). We opted for the extra clue because we didn't want to pick the extra time and risk getting 1 minute. The pirate ship room is at the bottom so we go down a flight of stairs where the employee tells us that as soon as she leaves the room we are free to look around. Once the employee leaves, your game master sets the scene and the mission officially starts. The room is really well decorated and really puts you in the scene. I was SWEATING running around everywhere and we blew through our 4 clues in the first 20 minutes. It's true that there are A LOT of locks but figuring out how to unlock it is still pretty fun. I think the locks do distract you from the parts of the room that are more creative, and you easily get lost on which keys and codes you've already used before. The flashlights are USELESS so I really recommend bringing in your phone, I know it's against the rules but their flashlights don't work and the room is already hard enough that I wasn't going to lose even more time being blind. I also found it annoying to go back out the ship to go to the screen and see the clue but it is smart because you do need to look outside the ship sometimes and you can get lost thinking only the ship itself is useful but the clues make you observe all parts of the room. Once time is up, your game master comes back and shows you how to solve the room (which is neat! I didn't think they would show you how to solve it). Our game master was great! Really got into her role. We did lose but had tons of fun. I would go back and try another scenario for sure!

With two groups waiting to tee off on 15. It would have been at least 6 hours for that round. Do you want to pay $81 for a 6 hour round of golf on a Monday ? But their responsibility is to assure ALL of the golfers following this group of louts can still enjoy their round.

The pricing is fair, about 25$ for 4 game of laser tag and 1 game of putting. Laser tag is a 2 story place on a 20 vs 20 roaster. You get point by shooting the other team which, on hit, disable the vest and gun for 2 sec. The layout is nice. There is some gizmo on the wall here and there that you can shoot and it does some stuff. I'm unsure if they yield any points though. Think about dark zone but without the base and with only 2 teams. The miniput is nice and different from what I'm used to. It has its own teaming and it has some challenging layout. Suit player of all age and fun to play. Last hole is a waste of opportunity since you put and unless you go on reverse, you'll end up in the hole in 1 shot. There's a lounge for adult on the second floor but I never saw it open. There's a special for birthday too that include putting and 4 game of laser tag, food and a private room. I think it's something like 300$ for 1 adult 7 kids. A great place for fun, laser tag are a bit of reservation based (more like slot based, we arrived at 15h15 and were spotted for 17h00).

Decent first international race experience…read more I will keep this brief and not write a full report. I did the half marathon; I actually wanted to do the full marathon but the NYC summer was far too brutal for training. This was my first race outside of NYC and the United States, for that matter. So, I based this experience on my NYC race experiences. 1. It was pretty easy breezy getting to the start and it did not feel like a police state with a bunch of security points. I left my airbnb near the finish line at 7:15 and arrived to the start by 8:15. I remember for the NYC marathon that I had to leave my place at 5:30 am to get to the start village by 8 for a 9-10am start - a lot of time in the cold. 2. I think that the corralling could have been a little more organized but I do think this is more of a problem for the Rock n Roll series. You can pretty much put your estimated finishing time, so I think that a lot of people upscaled their running capabilities. There were quite a few people walking 1-3 miles into the race and they were in lower corrals than I. C'mon, you are running a marathon and you are ALREADY walking?!!! 2. For the half, you do not see a lot of the city, because most of the race is on Iles Sainte-Helene and Notre Dame. Of course, the full marathon encompasses more of Montreal. Also, most of the course it pretty quiet, especially on Ile Notre Dame. I wonder if the organizers could reroute the run so that the half-marathoners could enter Montreal after Ile Sainte-Helene rather than after Ile Notre Dame. I will say that it was really cool running through the Village and Old Montreal. 3. As anyone who prepares for a race, you will know where the water stations are. I kind of wish that they were a mile apart, rather than two miles apart. 4. The bands and groups along the course were pretty awesome. I was kind of surprised that they mostly performed covers of artists from the States. I was kind of expecting to hear more "homegrown" music from Montreal. Nevertheless, I am glad that they were out there and brought the Rock n Roll them to the race. 5. The post-race experience was kind of a struggle; it took about for me to get my baggage. I think that if I run next year that I will not check a bag. I know that the marathon was still going on when the 5Kers, 10Kers, and half-marathoners were done but it would have been nice to have a few bands playing on the main stage. The post-race goody bags were pretty nice and full of great recovery treats. 6. The race expo was nice and I am so glad that the organizers had blank confirmations forms because I forgot to print mine before leaving the States. I do not if these suggestions are feasible, but I will throw them out there. 1. Start the post race performances a little earlier. I wanted to stay longer (and drink more beer) but there was nothing to do, except for visiting vendors. 2. Have more than one beer station in the park, because it took a bit of time to redeem the beer coupons. 3. Reroute the half-marathon to include more of Ile de Montreal. 4. Being able to use portable devices to pick up your race materials would be great. Who even own printers anymore? ;) Overall, I had a positive race experience and I really want to do the full-marathon next year. Hopefully, the next summer will not be brutal for training

We also lucked out getting Fred as our instructor. We had a arrived a little late due to weather and traffic and he gave us a quick and precise explanation of what we needed to do, and followed up on that with great feedback in the tunnel as well. A+ experience and will likely return to check out their assisted flight experience for individuals with mobility concerns. Edit: forgot to note that as part of our booking we ordered the photo package. I'm not 100% sure I would recommend this because we didn't get a ton of great photos for the price, but if would like a souvenir it's 100% the way to go because as you can see from some of the other reviewers it's really hard to capture pictures from outside of the wind tunnel.

However, they get dinged a star for a few concerns over the course of the experience. Let's talk about the good, and the not so good. Good: - Amazing experience. Everyone who left had a smiling face. Can't say enough for how cool it was. The stunts that the professional instructors do inside of the wind tunnel is phenomenal. - Ease of parking. You're located in a fairly out-of-Montreal area, so there is plenty of free parking. It's right next to a large movie theater, so on Friday/Saturday nights, you might be driving around a little. Not so good: - Cost per minute. It is expensive, especially considering the cheapest package buys you 2 (yes...TWO!) minutes in the wind tunnel. Let's just put it this way - I don't even think Julia Roberts charged Richard Gere this much money per minute. - Safety. My girlfriend's helmet kept slipping in the wind tunnel, and the instructor was not too concerned. Also, the safety briefing is... well brief. But there were lots of children who went in, so it doesn't seem that unsafe. As an FYI - like most of the Montreal area, English is readily spoken.

Our group visited Montreal for a bachelor party and would highly recommend for those interested in curling. Plenty of space, including lounge space and a bar upstairs. A brief lesson was included, then they let you play for the majority of your reserved time. Will definitely visit again when back in Montreal!
