A+++: My children are 9 and 11 and they've been a patient at the KIDDSMILES in Manhasset since they were about 1 year old. I am a very involved parent (nice way of saying I can be a real b*****) and I have NEVER had a bad experience. Reflecting on my 10 years of experience with this location, has there been a billing issue? Sure, mistakes happen. Have they given me an attitude about it? NO, they look into the problem and correct it. Do I sometimes come with 1,001 questions about my kids teeth? Yes, and they've always answered them. Have I ever been late for an appointment? Yes, and on those few times they've always tried to accommodate. BUT, I would call to tell them I'd be running late and let's be honest - the owner is running a business and just because our lives are running a little hectic doesn't me the whole world stops for us. You being late cuts into someone else's time. What if it was your time someone else was cutting into. My children are not perfect. My son has vasovagal syncope which made having a cavity filled real fun (NOT), needed braces, and doesn't brush well. My daughter is a mouth breather (doing damage to her teeth), has needed a tongue tie procedure, and has already had a cavity filling. At every NEW dental/personal experience in my children's lives, KIDDSMILES has been right there supporting them every step of the way- making them feel safe and loved. They've accommodated us whenever possible when asking for the family room (both your children seem at the same time or sometimes one at a time but together in the same room). Have they ever run behind? Yes, what business that deals with emergencies hasn't??? - name one and I'd call you a liar! I read an article somewhere that shared the owner's dental experience as a child and I said to myself, "Yes! Me too! I also had horrible dental experiences growing up." My kids have been coming here for about 2 yrs now. We love it here... they love coming here more than going to their pediatricians and they get a goody bag every time they are here. The Staff here are very friendly and the place looks very clean. Plenty of parking spots available. read more

They make you wait for over an hour for a scheduled appointment. They will make you sign an explanation of benefits before entering the room and then two months later they will bill you for something they never explained in the explanation. Save your time and money...find a dentist for your kid that actually cares about them not just your money. read more

My three kids have been coming to this dentist for over 10 years. Dr. Michelle is amazing and so professional. The office is so child friendly and parent friendly as well, you can actually relax and have a cup of coffee in the middle of your busy day. The front desk and staff are welcoming, helpful and attentive to all your needs. The office is conveniently located on Northern Boulevard and there is valet parking. The children feel like they are going to a birthday party with all the prizes they get after they are done with their cleaning. I have had a few emergency situations when my son chipped his two front teeth and they took us in immediately. We always go to the Manhasset office but as also visited the office in Syosset and it is beautiful. I highly recommend this dentist! read more

We went to the Great Neck/Manhasset location for the second time today and the entire staff was pleasant and friendly. Both of my kids love them. The make the entire experience very easy and even fun. The office is clean and set up with lots of kid friendly toys and tvs, etc. We saw Dr. Yassmin today and she was so good with both of my kids. Scheduling is easy, I already have their next appointment in six months set up. They send a text a week or two before to remind you. I can't say enough nice things about everybody we encountered there both times we have been. thank you so much!! read more

Called the office to follow up on a message that the office left on my machine. Office was open however no one was picking up the phone. Instead, I was forced to leave a message and was told that I would receive a call back. Two days went by and I called back again on a Friday around 450pm and of coarse the office was closed until Monday. The emergency operator refused to take my message. Looks like I need to find a more reliable pediatric dentist office in the area. read more

I am very happy with this dentist office. I have been taking my 2 boys here for a few years now and every time I go I feel like they are very nice and professional. I have seen 2 doctors at this location, Dr. Yasmin and Dr. Tatiana and I like them both very much. I find them to both be very knowledgeable and good with children. They are a very busy place but compared to other dentists office out there the wait is not that long. I come from the Bronx to go there because I am very particular with the doctors/dentists my kids see. They are not very forgiving with being late to your appointments, in my case traffic, but that's totally understandable as they do have other patients waiting. I would highly recommend them. read more

I had a terrible experience at this facility in the Manhasset office. I was very disappointed with Stephanie, who was my sons hygienist. She had a terrible bedside manner, and was very rude to me and my son. She basically told us she had other patients waiting when my son was traumatized by his previous appointment, and wanted me to leave the room when he was crying and upset. My son and I were very upset, and will be looking for another office. Since she made his fears a lot worse of the dentist. read more

I have been taking my kids to this office for a few years now and we always had a stress free visit. The dentists and hygienists are good with the kids. We rarely have to wait a long time before being seen. I didn't think that the office was dirty at all. The only problem I have is waiting for the receptionists to complete the billing. read more

I've been using this office since my kids were small. They're now teenagers. Over the years it's become harder and harder to get an appointment. After waiting for 3 months, I finally had an appointment for 5:20pm today. I get a phone call at 5:22 asking why I'm late and threading to cancel my appointment. After I explain that I'm two blocks away and that there's a traffic jam, I was put in hold for a few minutes and told that the office manager has decided to not see us. I asked for my files to be closed and I will be transferring to another dentist. This was awful customer service especially since the person on the phone proceeded to hang up on me. read more

I would not recommend this dentistry to anyone. I'm a working mother that like many mother's need to take off to take their child to an appointment and especially with a dentistry like them that's like a teeth factory and are all booked. I had two bad experiences before I decided to change. The first time I went I was told I needed to go back because my child was crying too much, I mean she's three what did you think was going to happen! If I take a day off or half a day for this appointment I need the work to get done. The second bad experience was that I again took off and this time they couldn't see my daughter because she had a stuffy nose and they assumed she would be too uncomfortable even though on this day she was so excited to be there and was in her best behavior. I had asked the doctors to please try since she was behaving so well, but they ignored my request and had me reshedule. That was on 1/9/17, let me just add I changed dentists and on 1/13/17 my daughter was perfectly seen and treated by another dentist and was on her best behavior with her stuffy nose. This place is a factory, and are booked back to back, so if they see that your child is difficult and will take them too long they prefer you to come back 2-3 times ... I mean they're going to get paid regardless. read more

The worst dentist I ever took my kids too. They are dirty first of all. The bathroom was filthy and smelled horrible. You see a different dentist every time you go. They said my kids all had cavities got 2nd opinion and was told they are baby teeth and dont need to be filled. Danielle at the front desk is RUDE and unprofessional. Terrible! I was here a few months ago and never had a chance to write a review. I Waited over an hour for my son to be seen. The dentist didnt know what she was doing I didnt feel that my son was in good hands at all. The office is dirty especially the bathroom. Terrible experience. Took our 5 year old twins for their first visit and cleanings and after waiting 45 mins then they told us the machines were down for the cleanings. So the hygienists who were better than with the kids than Dr Caroline who has no patience for nervous children, showed them how their teeth would get cleaned next time. The women at the front desk are nasty and once again make sure your appointment is not with Dr Caroline who basically walked out of my daughters room because she has zero patience for children! After having a horrible experience at another practice my daughter was scared and would cry going to the dentist. I'm so glad my pediatrician referred me to kids smiles my 5 year old loves Dr. Aljaberi. I love this practice and have told my friends and family how wonderful they are. Horrible. My 3 year old son fell in the middle of the night (Tuesday) and was in the ER. The next day I followed up with my dentist per the ER release form and I was told they could only squeeze me in the following Monday. I couldn't believe that that was the best they could do for me. I had been there many times with both my children and even had cavities filled for my older son. The receptionist told me she'd talk to the dentist and call me back. She never called back. I since switched dentists. The new one spoke to me that day and calmed me down. She instructed me on what to look for and set an appointment up for me. If a pediatric dentist can't help/talk to a parent out in an unusual situation what good are you? read more

I highly recommend this place. I brought my 3 and 2 year olds here. I was very worried on how they would react since they are shy but the hygienist and Doctor made them feel comfortable. They sat perfectly for the cleaning. There were several kids being seen and all came out with smiles. read more
