Because they were the same color we already own, I returned immediately--only to be informed that they only offer store credit. There was no signage indicating this policy, nor were we advised of it at the time of purchase. The owner claimed it was printed on the receipt; however, we were not provided a physical receipt and instead received an email sent with only an order number and total. For a smoother and more transparent shopping experience, I recommend purchasing from Dillard's or another retailer instead of this location.

They were kind but when they would resubmit my order I would get another email in a couple hours telling me that it couldn't be processed without any reason behind it. Their new CEO makes $20 million a year. They should put that money in people who care and actually get things done. No more Kohl's.

I've been going to Pete's for over 25 years, buying 1-3 pairs of boots a year and sometime driving…read moreover 70 miles just for their boots. today i went in to see about returning some insoles to a pair of boots. the lady that assisted us today was a lady that has waited on us for years and she was rude and acted like she wanted nothing to do with us and that it was a bother to assists us in solving the problem only thin is that is would do ya give us another pair of insoles that we didn't want and what we really wanted was a solution from a friendly person that we had worked with for many years. granted i had a brought a pair of boots for my daughter for Christmas sitting on the counter, had not been for that my daughter had wanted those particular boots i would have took the original insoles back and told her to keep the boots. i would have for many years would have said Yes go to Pete's they are kind ones would bend over backward for you but after 25 years of doing business with them for her to go and be this rude and not wanting to really have anything to do with the problem just blows my mind. My husband and i left Pete's said that we will not be back.
