I am over the moon with this school. My little one started there at 17 months and I have been so…read moreimpressed by the amount of new skills and information he has learned over the past year. His vocabulary is amazing. He speaks in complete, complex sentences and is able to label nearly everything he comes into contact with. At two he can count to 15 and sing the alphabet. This is almost entirely from the school. He is so excited to tell me about his day and sing the songs he learned that day. He has been moved to "higher" classrooms twice and his teachers have all been terrific. He truly loves his teachers and talks about them often. All of the teachers and staff at the school know him by name and greet him like a friend when we come in and leave -- even teachers that he hasn't had as his teacher. All of his teachers have been there since he started and the faces and names become familiar because their turnover of staff seems very low. Many of his teachers have been there for years. It seems that all the staff is very attentive to the children and have always been very patient with our questions and hovering. The programs for the children are age appropriate and seem to really excite the children. They have P.E. everyday and my child loves his coach. They have music class and special programs throughout the week. For the 3 and up students they have Spanish and computer class as well. My child has been so happy at Seaborn that he cries when we drive by the school on the weekends because he can't go to school. A previous reviewer complained about the application of sunscreen for their child. While I cannot speak to their specific experience I can say that I have witnessed them applying sunscreen and bug spray to the children on multiple occasions and the children line up and wait for the application like it is a normal procedure. Additionally, my child has eczema and they have always been happy to apply whatever over the counter or prescription he happens to be using. I also want to note that the school is very flexible with us and the rules are reasonable. I love that all the holidays are celebrated and taught to the children. My child is so excited for Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc. I don't feel that they push the children to learn things at all, but that they make the learning experience fun and exciting for them. My two year old knows so much from Seaborn that total strangers have stopped us while we've been out to say that they think he is a genius. We don't think that is the case at all. He is just a normal kid who is inspired by his school to engage fully with the world around him. With full time working parents we try to teach him as much as possible, but it is impossible to do everything. Thankfully Seaborn has been there for us and we couldn't be happier with the experience our child has had there.

My daughter has been there two years and I couldn't be happier. All the way from the director down…read moreto each teacher you can feel the love for the kids! They have longevity in staff, my child has blossomed. I'd highly recommend Seaborn Beach Park to everyone looking for a preschool

We enrolled our 2-year-old at O2B Kids South Westshore and ultimately withdrew him due to ongoing…read moresafety and supervision concerns in his classroom. Over several weeks (October-November), our child was injured multiple times by the same child, including bite marks and other physical incidents. Some of these incidents were documented with incident reports, while others were not. We also personally witnessed aggressive behavior on more than one occasion. I understand that incidents can happen at this age; however, in our experience the behavior occurred often enough to significantly impact the classroom environment. From what was communicated to us by staff at the time, these incidents were affecting multiple children, and the classroom teacher was also struggling. While a behavior plan was reportedly in place, the incidents continued. At one point, we observed the classroom teacher in visible emotional distress due to the situation. We do not fault the teacher at all; she appeared to be doing everything she could under extremely difficult circumstances. Our concerns were with how the situation was handled at the administrative level and the lack of effective intervention to ensure safety for everyone in the classroom. After raising concerns, communication was extremely disappointing. Multiple requests for copies of all incident reports involving our child went unanswered. While some documentation was provided, we did not receive all incident reports or redacted information related to our child despite repeated requests. In addition, a confidentiality issue occurred in which our contact with corporate was shared with another parent. This resulted in that parent confronting me on school grounds in a way that felt inappropriate and upsetting. The ongoing situation caused significant emotional distress for our family and ultimately forced us to remove our child and secure alternative care on very short notice, resulting in financial loss and disruption to our work and family life. I'm sharing this so other parents can ask detailed questions about classroom safety, behavior management, documentation practices, and communication before enrolling. Every child deserves a safe environment, and every parent deserves transparency. The silver lining is that our son is now in a different school where he feels safe and supported. He has told us he loves his new school and does not want to return to what he described as the "mean class" at O2B.

I'm so glad we went with her instead of going to a reading center. My second-grade daughter has a reading disability which we uncovered last spring. She made significant and measurable progress working with Amy over the summer. Picking up and dropping off I also met parents of teenagers who mentioned how much Amy has helped their children. When I told my daughter she would be going to a reading tutor she was not pleased. However, after the first session she has always been excited to go and happy when I pick her up. Amy is endlessly patient and adaptable. My daughter can tell she is making progress, which helps with her confidence at school. Amy has also been willing to coordinate with the school to help my daughter get the best help there. She is truly interested in seeing her students succeed.

Ms. Theresa and Ms. Diana are incredible, they make the kids feel like family, and encourage positive behavior, in a week we noticed the change in our child, in problem solving situations, learning letter and numbers, and abc's. The owner herself is always there and makes sure to ask the parents questions, they are very welcoming as well Ms. Kara, she runs the place very professionally and she makes sure you feel at ease answering all of your questions. Some of the other awesome things are the cámaras that I am able to keep an eye on our daughter. I just wished they could have some in the playground and be able to watch it all day (it keeps me at ease) getting pictures and videos from her all day from her teachers makes my husband and I extremely happy and at peace that our baby is in good hands. I will most definitely recommend to everyone!

Security is top notch there. All the door have an alarm to it. I really liked the sterilization machine in the hallway. The kitchen where the food is prepared was large, clean and organized. Some of the menu items are a little more unhealthy than others but I noticed that's normal for daycares. This won't be the cheapest daycare you'll find but it seems like they take good care of the kids and facility.
