They also have great sports and arts programs where they will help the student excel to their highest potential; but they are not going to sell out the rest of their mission for a winning team or producing the next rock star. You will need to look elsewhere for that and there are schools in the area that will help you with those goals. But, if you are more concerned with producing an educated Christian, then this is THE school. Are they perfect....no but, being aware of the extent of the problems at other private schools, you could do a lot worse than here. Our child would be home-schooled before being sent to ANY other school in the area. The Harding preschool your review addresses, has been closed. The 'closer' location is where my child started school at 2-years old. There is an indoor gym stocked with rolling toys, tumbling mats, and climbing equipment/slides, as well as an outdoor play area and comfortable classrooms for each age group. Most of the staff have a college degree, which is in contrast to many of the programs that we looked at when we moved to Memphis. The teachers are all so very kind and patient with the toddlers, and the experience is very play-based (no screens/computers/iPads for the littles, which is a plus for me)! The entrance is secure (locked when the children are there), and each of the three times (in a year) that my son has had a "boo-boo" he has been treated appropriately and I've been notified promptly. The teachers have followed our dietary preferences with no questions or problems, and I get a daily report about what activities my son enjoyed and how he napped. We also have individual conferences with the teachers once each semester. My two year-old comes home talking about his teachers and his friends, and he LOVES going to school. The classes are small, so he gets a lot of attention. I'm a happy mama!
