The Store Associate with lots of tattoos on her arm was friendly. She offered basically one dollar for each item or $7.20 store credit. There was one item by Cat and Jack that had not been worned and tags still on them, that I was hoping to get more cash but, nothing? So, if your kid's need something. Come look around here. They have brand names and a variety of everything. If, you wanna sell your Kid's clothes that they don't wear or have outgrown. You can take them here but, they won't give you much cash. read more

So I've been to the kid to kid in Arlington. Was under the impression that the Fort Worth location was umbrella to a corporation in unison with the Arlington store. I would not be surprised at all if this was a franchise deal because it was night and day in the amount of differences between the two locations. Where Arlington was organized and clean in appearance Fort Worth was not. Where Arlington had air conditioning Fort Worth did not. Where Arlington had bins for customers to place their items for sale in Fort Worth did not. Where Arlington had no limit on how many bins I could drop off for consideration to sell, Fort Worth had a two bin limit and then told me it would be days(multiple) before I would hear back from them. I'm not trying to be mean but there is a chasm of setbacks that Fort Worth kid to kid needs address for a drastic change towards improvement if they wish to compete with the Arlington kid to kid or even stay in business themselves. DO NOT SELL HERE! Every Kid to Kid store has their OWN policy, and the owners/managers of this location have written one that I find to be immoral and unethical. The policy ("receipt") that they have created, and that you are required to sign at drop off, gives them the right to all of your belongings. They have also taken away your right to accept or deny the offer. So, it's really not an "offer" anymore. They simply appraise your items and then tell you what you're getting for it, whether you like it or not. Because they've taken away your power to negotiate or even take back your items, they can appraise the item at the lowest possible value. There is no incentive for them to offer you a fair trade. If my choices were either a dollar per item or donate them to a family in need, I would definitely do things differently. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my entire life. Choosing not to communicate this policy to me verbally at drop off was a choice. Creating a policy that takes away the power of their customers to accept or deny an offer is a choice. Everything they've done has been intentional and thought out. Make no mistake. They are prospering and this store is thriving, but not ethically. Here is my personal experience: yesterday I dropped off toys and a stroller. It was not communicated to me verbally that the items belonged to them once I signed that receipt, or that I would have no choice in accepting or denying an offer. And I made the grave mistake of not reading that receipt before signing it. It wasn't until the next day that they called me and told me that there were 12 items they chose to appraise and the value they were paying for the stroller would be $50. I said "ok I will come by after work." I was under the impression that I would have the choice to accept or deny which items they could keep. So when I said I would be coming by later that day, I used that time to think about whether I was comfortable with the offer. I decided that I was not. When I arrived to the store and let the associate know that I wanted to keep the stroller and not sell it to them, she told me that wasn't an option. THATS when they informed me of their policy. Thats when they verbally explained the process. Not beforehand. It was intentional y'all. I will be reporting their policy to the Better Business Bureau and contacting the franchise to be sure they are aware. Taking away someone's ownership of their belongings for an UNDETERMINED amount of money is unethical and immoral. Tell me I'm wrong. read more

Do not recommend selling here. I really don't believe they went through everything as it was folded exactly like I left it at the bottom of the container. The remaining items from the top section smelled terribly and inside my container were several items that did not even belong to me including a controller for some type of electronic item. I tried to sell a bag here, and they "bought 10 of my items for $6" when I realized one of the items was a $40 pair of bell bottoms I wanted them back, and they said they didn't know where they were but I could go look and buy them back. Don't recommend reselling here I have a few things I noticed they were doing , I brought in a ton of clothes and shoes name brand and new I was told to leave the belongings and they would call me when it was done. Well that lasted almost a week in a half and a few times of me calling to check and see If things were done . Every time I come everything is way over priced for used items. $14 for a used winter coat for a 3yr old that is in decent condition not great. Everything here is way over priced. I go to this store regularly and I LOVE it. They seem to always be full of great stuff and I can often find great deals. I recently got my girls gymnastics outfits for under $8. I love selling and getting a discount but also rack up discounts a lot of buying and thanks to their text message deals. The staff is so kind to me every time I'm there. I love Monica and Valerie so so much and Lindsay is always over the top helpful to me and easy to talk to as well. Just a couple weeks ago she chased me to my car with a paw patrol costume I had been searching for. I just got some really great stuff for my kids Christmas gifts that I won't find anywhere else except maybe eBay. Extremely picky with what they will buy and offer very low prices. Even though voicemail says they buy clothes from all seasons this is not the case when I brought items in to sell. Takes them a long time to go through your clothes. I was the second person in line and it took them 3 hours. When I dropped clothes off to sell one of the ladies had a cold and was touching everything without washing or sanitizing her hands, spreading germs around. Didn't even want the items they didn't want to buy back. Now they let you drop off and pick up the next day. My buy still was not done late afternoon the next day. read more

I am extremely disappointed and annoyed at kid to Kid FTW on Hulen. I was in there on the 1st and bought $100 worth of stuff. One of those things was a bikini. When I got home and looked in my bag I found no bottom. Please keep in mind I live in Abilene and I drive 2.5 hours specifically to go to kid to kid FTW at least twice a year for school clothes and stop by anytime in between when I am in town. So I call to find out about the bottoms. I speak to a lady that says she is sorry they can't mail them to me because they don't do mailings. She informed me that "Avery" forgot to put it in the bag and I would have to come by the store and pick it up. I informed her it might be months before I would be back to FTW. I live in Abilene! Really? Ok that makes sense. She said it was ok they would keep it for me. Well you can keep it because the likelyhood of me going back into that store is zero to none. Why would I give them my money? They apparently don't care. I find it absolutely ridiculous that not one person could drop that bottom in an envelope, put a couple stamps on it and drop it in the mail. There are multiple other stores for me to choose from and I will not choose FTW Hulen. If you can't rectify your own mistake then I will take my money elsewhere. Absolutely absurd and ridiculous. I gave this store a Bad review because i've taken nice things to this store in new shape and was given a laughable quote. Which was about 6 Diaper boxes full of boys clothes, most had tags and were in new shape. They belonged to twin boys so two of everything. They gave me a price of 1.50. The weight of cloth alone was worth more than 1.50 for scrap. I wasn't looking to get rich. 15 dollars would've been far adequate. 60 lbs of name brand baby clothes for a dollar fifty? TF? Come on people. I went to the other location in watauga with what they wouldnt take on hulen street and got 45 dollars for a pack-n-play and high chair at the Watauga location that they wouldn't take at the hulen location. Granted it was two hours away from buying time and when i looked thru the boxes they were going to offer me 1.50 for i found they didn't even go thru the whole boxes. So it leads me to believe the employees are lazy at this store. read more

I find it interesting that the negative review that I wrote a few months ago has disappeared from this site. I talked about the fact that this store basically stole from me when I took clothes in to sell to them. When I was called with an offer, I told the woman that I would have to think about it but she pressed me to know if I would take cash or store credit if I decided to sell. I told her that I would take cash IF I decided to sell. When I got to the store, I told them that what they offered (about $20) was insane for the full tub of new and only-worn-once items in the bin and wanted to decline the offer. They claimed that I had told them I would sell and take cash and then told me that they could not find my items when I demanded them returned. In the end, all of the Ralph Lauren, Polo, Gap, Gymboree, etc. clothing, much of it with tags, that I had brought it was mysteriously never found. Kid to Kid also has a problem with their staff. While waiting on the woman to find my clothing, two other workers in the store stood near the counter, gossiping loudly about another worker there. The content of their discussion was inappropriate, especially since there were children in the store. I was angry at the time over what happened with the clothes that I brought in. Now, I am disgusted that Kid to Kid cannot, apparently, take deserved criticism and had my review deleted. Not just my review, either. There were, at the time of my original post, several other negative reviews. Those have also disappeared. Where was this business when my kids were small! There is an enormous selection of clothing, shoes, toys and baby swings, strollers, walkers, etc. Some items even have the original tag and the garments have never been worn. The prices are much lower than buying new and all items are checked to be sure they are in working order. The staff has always been quick to answer questions or put bulky items in my car. As quickly as babies and kids go through clothing, why wouldn't you check Kid to Kid first? My grandbaby is well-supplied! read more

A complete waste of time for a seller, and a hit or miss for a customer. They are moody. I guess you have to meet certain criteria to receive good customer service. They call your stuff flawed but then you look at what's on the shelves and it is rare that you find anything cute. It seems like their specialty is undershirts! But yet i see them constantly turn down cute name brand or unique clothing and they turn it down due to a collar button missing or a hem that just needs to be pressed good. Uh, if im purchasing from a resale shop I don't care if a collar button is missing it can be replaced or you might not even need it (who buttons the top one anyway) that's why it's discounted. Just buy new or go to a different resale this is a big disappointment. You would have more success and better service at a garage sale. read more
