Here are some of the ways that Sandy truly stood out: - Both our babies were born around Christmas holiday and scheduling was not an issue at all for Sandy. She checked in ahead of the appointment to ensure we didn't need to reschedule (much needed for parents that just gave birth recently) and had our themes ready prior to us arriving. - The themes were 10/10, better than what we could've envisioned ourselves. And our themes were generic such as lemon or Christmas. - The amount of patience Sandy has is seriously amazing! Our second baby was a bit harder to photograph compared to the first, in addition to a toddler who wasn't in the mood for pictures, and it didn't phase Sandy at all. We setup a schedule with Vu but due to my Dad's health condition, I must have changed the appointment more than 3 times but Vu was very understanding and patient. On the day of the photoshoot, Vu and Mai came with all equipments ready. He scouted around our home for potential spots and took some testing shoots while we were getting ready. The whole session went very smoothly. I was very impress how Vu took advantage of our apricot tree in our backyard as the background for many pictures. With his professional eyes, talented photography skill on top of his confidence in choosing the right lighting and angle, he turned our old & ugly tree into a beautiful background scenery. You have to immediately go through a lengthy three-phase process to choose that photo --no consulting with friends/partners. Okay, so maybe I should have found the fine print, but it turns out "professionally edited" means "created by AI." It generated an image that looks like a 25-year-old digital avatar of me, quite different from the original photo. The website also claims that "We offer 2 rounds of free revisions," but I have not received a response a week after asking for one. So, I'm using the raw image, which is fine.
