InterExec do a great job in terms of opening doors and raising your profile with the right people. They also make sure you are fully prepared for the discussions ahead. The thing to remember is that InterExec create the opportunities by promoting you as a candidate/brand, but you must do the work when the door is opened. It is a joint effort. This is the way I have worked with InterExec both times and each time I have not been disappointed and the results have been excellent in creating my next career step. The support the team provided me with was excellent (Jon and Ben) and both were always there to bounce ideas around and help prepare. I highly recommend InterExec, but only if you understand they will not magic up a role and you sit back and wait. It requires significant effort on both party's behalf. If you work in the right way with the right mindset the results are fantastic.

It took me a while to convince myself to sit down and write this review - I believe, at best this…read moreplace is misleading and, at worst, a fraud... They claim they have 'access' to headhunters for high end jobs but I think what they have access to is your pocketbook. If you are in line for an executive recruitment, there are executive recruiters and you do not pay them. InterExec claims that these recruiters do not give you a fair shot at potential jobs and that they can get access to the profiles the recruiters are chasing and insert you where you are a good fit. The time I sat with them the 'sales' person had a checklist of questions he had to ask me (actually checked them off as he did) and they were rote consultative sales questions, some of which did not actually add up. And none of it added up to what they wanted to charge or what the market had to say about them. Which, unsurprisingly, is that headhunters do NOT share information with them and they largely do NOT have access to those jobs. They may place people from time to time but I also noticed that the sales person told me some story about a 'sad' woman, as he referred to her, who had used their services but failed to get anything and then came around (probably wondering where her money went I was thinking) but that this was not the norm. I reckon it is. And I reckon what they are doing is actually pretty f*cked up. They place ads with pictures of a private jet cruising above the clouds but they claim to place people who make £150k - £2mm per annum. A handsome salary to be sure but...private jet money? No, sadly not. Highly suggest avoiding. The worst part about them is that they undoubtedly sucker people who do have a high end job but potentially are struggling to make it or were given a great pay package because, unfortunately, big pay packages mean a company will want a lot for that. Some times what they want is for you to take a sh*t job. So you start to freak out but you like the money - and in comes the company that pays a TON of money for advertising to tell you how they will finally get those executive recruiters to pay attention to you. Bullsh*t. And pay attention to what they intend to charge you and the number of clients they say they have. They are making some scratch on the deal and any time someone says they need you to pay them £10k GBP to do an 'evaluation' and how that is worth the money straight away, run for the hills. Money is simply a tool - its certainly not going to get you happiness on its one merits and it can be quite addicting. But it is something that helps navigate life so don't go wasting it on these bozos. Shame on them.
