I haven't found an enormous amount of Middle Eastern cuisine in Asheville, but this place brought…read morethe vibe. It's small and unassuming in a strip mall in West Asheville. My takeout was ready on time. While the falafel roll still might have been better fresh, I wanted something that I could plausibly eat several hours later on a mountain without a ton of restaurants nearby, and that choice worked out well. Many falafel rolls come with add-ons that I don't like, but the pickled turnip offering here was both flavorful and colorful. I also got their fries, drizzles with tahini and parsley, which is a good way to eat fries. A case of baked goods and a small market section of canned items were also available. There was certainly space to eat inside or out for someone without my travel schedule. It's also notable that in addition to the usual falafel, they offer ample vegan options as befits the Asheville community, including a house seitan and some other vegetable and fake meat options. I was happy with what I got, but the choice is always appreciated.

Service and ambiance was successful. I got the Lamb & Beef Shawarma (consisting of mint cabbage…read moreslaw, pickles, toom, tomato, parsley and tarator) on a GF pita, but I got it Suzy's Way, meaning with the addition of fries and hot sauce combined with the other ingredients. The flavors were an absolutely beautiful Middle Eastern combo, and taking it Suzy's Way added a slight kick to the flavor. The pita was properly warmed as well. Overall, this is where to go if you've got a seriously empty stomach and are craving Middle Eastern cuisine.

Came here with colleagues for dinner. We sat outside as it was absolutely beautiful weather…read more Our server (I wish I had remembered her name, but on my receipt it says "Server: 1080/Night Ba") was AH-MAZING! We each ordered individually, but tasted everyone's dish. Beef Tartare: beautifully presented and well balanced. Served with fried saltines (seasoned with Old Bay seasoning). Wood Grilled Asparagus: perfection! Absolutely LOVED the sauce gribiche! Braised Rabbit and Nettle Cavatelli: I thought this dish was stunning. The texture of the cavatelli could not be better and the flavors melded well together. Lardon added savoriness while the pickled ramps balanced the palate. Soft Herb & Pea Risotto: loved this in terms of texture but needed a touch of salt. We added a pinch of their house special salt (mined from a 100 year old salt mine), and it did the trick! Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle: this was my favorite item, though also, requiring a pinch of salt. I really appreciated that the truffle oil did not overpower the dish (that's a pet peeve of mine). We were provided with some truffle salt to enhance savoriness, which absolutely lifted the pasta to another level. Service all around was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in town!

They have food and beverages available as well as popular locally made products like Poppy popcorn; French Broad Chocolates, Asheville Tea Company among others. They have items you may have forgotten to pack and some souvenirs too. The staff were very friendly and I had an item purchased somewhere else in the hotel that was even wrapped up and put into my bag. Talk about going above and beyond for the customer.
