The parking area leaves a lot to be desired. In fact, we saw one care drive up and then, after looking around a bit, just drive right off again. However, if you get into the caverns you'll be rewarded with some very large rooms and a lot of formations. This cavern is no where near as pristine as the Cave of the Mounds. However, if this cavern hadn't been damaged by the indians and/or settlers hundreds of years ago then I think that this cavern system would be even more fantastic than Cave of the Mounds. The owner had some very interesting stories. She did get on her soapbox a bit about living with the earth but she was a nice and interesting woman who is very proud of this cave.
