Reuben, potato pancake, and pickle bar items
    Amanda J.

I randomly found out about the Kibitz Room from a random Facebook post about pickle bar! I had actually never been to this area, but I was driving through a few months after originally learning about it and decided to make a stop. I'm so, so happy I did!! There's ample parking here, as it's in a strip mall. If you dine in, you can have a seat and a server will help you--and also invite you to grab a drink and visit the pickle bar. The pickle bar is what dreams are made of!!! What an absolute treat. The sandwich and potato pancake were also fantastic. Service was great. I'm writing this review about a month and a half after visiting, and I'm wishing I could be right back there. Great spot!!!!

I must start with the fact that I am very critical of kosher delis. This is likely due to the fact that I come from a deli family and have very high standards when it comes to the classic staples of these places. While there was nothing by extremely exciting about the food we ordered from The Kibitz Room, there was nothing very underwhelming about it either. It was simply just good enough. I feel like had we eaten in-restaurant, the experience may have been slightly different, and I may return at some point to experience that meal. However, based on my go-to order of a corned beef special and matzah ball soup, there was nothing all that impressive to bring me back. I wanted to highly enjoy the food and while the sandwich was good, not great; the matzah ball brought everything down a notch. The consistency was good and the size of the ball is wild...it's absolutely huge. However, it simply doesn't taste the like anything at all. Almost like just spongy plain matzah meal held together with something like a fatty paste. While that sounds more awful than it is, the best matzah balls are made with schmaltz, chicken fat, and it brings a ton of flavor, not only to the ball, but to the soup. I cannot put my finger on what was truly lacking here but it really took away from my whole experience. I did like that the sandwich was not enormous, as that is a pet peeve of mine. I don't need a gigantic sandwich to eat over three days, and for this, the Kibitz Room definitely wins points. All in all, the meal was just good enough. For the price paid, I would've liked better, but I cannot update my thoughts until I really go sit down there. They are definitely worth giving another try, as almost any kosher deli is, and from what I hear from others, this is a great spot. There also seems to be one that opened in King of Prussia, which must have been recent, because when I went to write this review, that location popped up, and I had never seen it before; so maybe I will try there! Either way, try it for yourself and decide!

Took the kids for Jewish deli for the first time and Kibitz Room was worth the drive. Everything fresh , quick , and delicious. Get your drinks and pickles after you take a seat is pretty awesome. That cheese kugel though stole the show and didn't expect that. Knish hot dog was outstanding with some of their spicy mustard. I love Russian dressing and slaw on my corned beef so that was nice on the side to load up on. Our server held it down for the entire restaurant and she didn't miss a beat. Customer service 10/10 even when the place was rocking at the counter and in the dining room. No frills the way it should be. Just damn good food.

This is probably the best deli display that I seen in years! Great variety and reasonable prices.

Stopped in for dessert as I was too full to get a sandwich with the pickle bar. My hamantashen was delicious and very fresh. I did take out bagels, two flavored cream cheese spreads and two potato pancakes with applesauce. The staff ( server and counter) were very friendly and helpful. I definitely will return soon to experience a sandwich or plater with the pickle bar.

This place has some of the most delicious Jewish deli sandwiches ever. It probably as good if not better then Katz in NY. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a NY Jewish deli of the 80s. The service is great but the counter person should learn the products a little better.

I won't speak on the service because I didn't sit to eat. But upon entering a restaurant where the register is directly at the door I would like to be greeted over stared at. Not too busy inside but a consistent flow from what I could see. Service was rather quick. $32. For sandwich fries pickle and we ordered a piece of cake which if I knew was $8 I would've reconsidered. Cake was choc chip. Soft but was like a 3 on the taste scale. Fries was a good fry. Can't complain. The sandwich. Good quality meat. Good size. But super dry and bland. Cheese was barely melted. Only had a dab of mustard on it. This a okay place to come back to but you literally have to walk them thru what u want and how u want it done like your at a bodega or expect something sub par.

I came here for lunch with a few friends today. Service was extremely fast which we really appreciated. The pickle bar was awesome and something nice to snack on while we waited for our food. I started off with the matzah ball soup which was delicious! The matzah ball was huge and the soup was seasoned really well. I followed that with a grilled cheese with fries that was also tasty! The only complaint is that tables are really close together so it was a bit hard to move around the space at times.

This is a great place to find a simple breakfast or lunch. The menu is small but mighty. I got an egg, cheese and avocado sandwich on wheat bread and a hot latte with almond milk. A delicious breakfast for around $12. The man behind the counter was fast and friendly. He didn't rush the line but also brought your order out to the waiting area when it was ready. They do have 2 small tables in the office lobby but that's just for waiting for your order or maybe scarfing down a sandwich very quickly. They also have a very small section of things you might find in a convenience store (painkillers, candy, granola bars, etc). Don't be deterred by the big office space when you pull up. Highly recommend for something tasty on the go!

What stands them apart is how they have their own heating equipment in the back so that if you order a salad with a protein, they are cooking it in the back. If you order a grain bowl, they can stir fry the veggies and meat together in the back to mix everything up. This, combined with their fresh ingredients, makes them a very high quality salad place. Would recommend for sure! p.s. If anyone from Salad House is reading this, please consider offering organic greens or at least one type of an organic green like Honeygrow with their Organic Spinach. Even charge a bit more for it if you want. Anyway, this is now the part of the review that nobody ever comes here for: - Water: There's no self-serve water machine - Restrooms: There are two single occupancy restrooms - Accessibility: The entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible, though with how the tables are placed, you may need to move a few chairs around potentially to roll in. - Seating: There's enough seating with a combination of high top and low tops. (p.s. The Window doesn't feel like it's been treated to block heat out so if you sit by those stools in the summer, you will fill the heat). - Will it fill you up? Yes. Much unlike Sweetgreens (sorry for firing those shots), the bowls are big enough and will fill you up. - Dietary Notes: A surprising number of their sauces are gluten free and they are very accommodating to telling you their allergens and offering substitutions, especially when ordering in store.

I order rhe shwarma combo but ask for it dry, I dont like sauces ir other wet ingredients making my food soggy. I asked for no garlic sauce and you guessed it, I got it anyway.
