Had a chance to experience the Kiana Lodge for a work event and it was so lovely! We had the grounds to ourselves and the people onsite - Isaac and others were super friendly and helpful when needed. The food we had was delicious and our staff kept talking about it through the week which is surprising because we have a picky bunch! Overall, I'd come here again, I would love to visit when they have dinners or lunches open to the public as I was really impressed. I can imagine some beautiful events in this space.

This is a stunning event venue for fundraisers, weddings, conferences, and the like. A very picturesque and serene environment. Gorgeous outdoor grounds and a beautiful rustic interior. My only complaint is that they have the worst chairs. They are awful to sit on. So uncomfortable. I have a completely osteoarthritic hip, and they had to go find a different chair for me the night of our event. Fortunately, I had brought a seat cushion, but even people who did not have problems with their hips, knees, and such had problems with those chairs. The wait staff were amazing the night of our event. The bar and the appetizers were adequate. The room was spacious enough to do an easy check-in and check-out, an auction, dessert dash, have folks mingling, and the program from the stage.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue - they are a dream come true! We came to Kiana about a year before the wedding with a 2-ceremony vision. Pam, Leslie, and the Kiana team gave us a tour and came back to us with a reasonable plan and quote. They were willing to set up the dining room twice, the wedding ceremony chairs twice, with a quick clean up in between ceremonies! Additionally, they had worked with our planner before and had a good relationship. The space itself is gorgeous. The flowers, the water, the garden, just amazing! There were seals playing and eagles soaring throughout the day. The fact that this is a private property that only hosts one wedding at a time was also something that I found really special and helpful. There is no chance of random people poking their heads in or running into another wedding - the venue is yours for your day, this was really important to us. The food at Kiana is also great :) We wanted to serve a traditional indian/nepali lunch after our first ceremony, and Kiana's chef, Cesar, learned the recipes and cooked the dishes himself!! We had a tasting a couple months before the ceremony with some minor notes and the lunch on the wedding itself came out perfect! They even accommodated some new appetizer recipes for cocktail hour! The dinner was great, and the bar lines were manageable (something we had asked them to be mindful of).

We had our wedding here in October and it could not have been more perfect. Pam was there every step of the way during the planning process and was patient with all our questions. The grounds are immaculately maintained and you get the entire space when you book your wedding. You can choose your ceremony location overlooking the water, facing the garden, or inside the atrium...and each location is stunning in its own way. The food was great, and the bartenders and service staff were fast and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would do it all over again.

We could not have been more pleased with Kiana Lodge, its staff, and the manager/coordinator Hailey Crow. My daughter got married there just this past weekend and, despite being HOT AS HECK, it was beautiful. Hailey worked back and forth with my daughter and her [now] husband to plan the day and it was spectacular. The place is so full of flowers around the gardens and the lodge that you don't need to add much yourself. The tables were gorgeous. It was super helpful that staff cut the cake. And I'm glad someone recommended that I rent the beach house next door because we could stage so much there and carry it over easily through a gate between the two. My only suggestion is that, given how hot our summers are getting, they invest in more fans or rig up A/C because there was only one box fan in the building and it was so hot that no one danced. We sweat off quite a bit of makeup! ;-) Regardless, I was very pleased and the day is now a wonderful memory. Thanks!

Best Wedding Venue Ever! This place is already just so gorgeous all around. It's very easy to design around your needs while staying well within budget as there isn't much needed to be done. Laura Lewis was our assigned coordinator that came with this venue. She was not only amazing and wonderful! But she had a baby between it all and came back to help out! Super mom is just an understatement for her. This place is not only great budget wise, but the place has food. So it helped out immensely when I do not need to look for food on top of the venue. Everyone to this day still talks about how amazing gorgeous our wedding was and it couldn't have been more perfect or turned out any more perfect. This place will floor you and you will not be disappointed. Thank you all again for your amazing service! It was just the most beautiful day of my life, that I will never ever forget. Thank you again!

Kiana Lodge is a gorgeous place for a wedding. My friend got hitched here last Friday, and it was absolutely stunning. The grounds are immaculately taken care of, accented by bright tropical flowers, and well-tended sprawling green lawns that stretch right out to the beautiful blue Puget Sound. This is a sensational photo shoot site for a wedding or engagement, or even if you're just in the market for a gorgeous Northwest backdrop. And of course, if the weather is feeling kind like it was for us, a 75-degree cloudless sky day certainly doesn't detract from Kiana's beauty. The wedding I attended had an outdoor ceremony, overlooking the waterfront at sunset. The friends I attended the wedding with had been there before, and said that indoor weddings are also quite beautiful here. The lodge features expansive skylights - so even an indoor ceremony has an abundance of light and the feel of being outside. The food was amazing, we took multiple trips to post ceremony cocktail hour table for crab dip hor d'oeuvres and a tart icy lemonade drink. The inside of the lodge is equally lovely, very Northwest in feel, exposed beams and very open. Oh yeah, and the buffet was pretty good too! This venue really is the total package. Only wish it was closer, as you need to deal with the Bainbridge ferry ride to get there. Hotel accommodations are nearby for your out-of-town guests, but you really can't beat the gorgeous scenery!

Kiana Lodge offers sophisticated elegance in classic Northwest native style. The lodge is surrounded by fragrant cedars, majestic firs and a stunning variety of blooming plant life, which the caretakers are very protective of. In addition to this lush atmosphere, Kiana Lodge is situated on 1,000 feet of no-bank waterfront and six acres of beautiful gardens. You will be amazed by the well-manicured grounds which are ablaze with spectacular color from early spring to late fall. The Suquamish Tribe acquired the property a few years back, and we've held annual meetings there ever since. The lodge provides catering service, salmon or prime rib (both of which are fantastic!) and beer and wine. It's a popular venue for weddings and corporate events. It's located on Agate Passage off Sandy Hook Road in Suquamish. Incredibly beautiful! You can stop by and talk to Jay the manager for a tour.

Me oh my talk about fresh cuts and soft serves! Mmm mmm good! The full wedding package is where it's at with this venue! Talk about every dollar being worth it and more here!! OMG!

What a beautiful setting if one has to be in an 11 hour meeting this is where you want to be. When we got break time and I loved walking around the back property against the water. The landscaping and flowers are so nice. And there's lots of chairs to sit out and take in the sun when it comes out. The meals that we had there were ok. Our lunch was a variety of sandwiches, a little on the dry side because they sat out uncovered for over an hour. Dinner was better with options of fish & chicken.

The tower rooms are very conveniently attached to the casino and easy to get back-and-forth to your room. If you stay in a Resort Room, that building is not attached and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the casino. I would say that that's the only downfall during the winter time of staying over there. But that is where the pool is so it just depends on what you're looking for at your stay. I have no complaints about the room, very clean and nice decor. My husband wished there was room service for breakfast the next morning but that is not available. I also wish they had valet parking. There is not nearly enough parking in the parking lot so if you don't find parking, you have to park in the parking garage and then walk all the way around back in to the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and the checkout process was easy. The second part of this review is going to be on the service from my work holiday party. The room was beautifully set up and the food was delicious. The staff that were coming around refilling water and taking plates were very attentive and friendly. We really liked Richard. The one employee that we encountered was the bartender assigned to our room. My first encounter from her I thought she was just having a bad day and I let it go. Not welcoming or friendly at all. Not even a smile. But as the night went on people started talking and it seemed everyone was having a not so good encounter from Robyn. She did not ID anyone all night, except my coworker that asked for a mocktail. She was rude to some people and unprofessional to others. It just progressively got worse. Yes the management will be reaching out to the contact they have at the casino to let them know. I was just so taken back about how somebody could go out of their way to be so rude at a fun holiday party. Other than that, the experience was great and I would highly recommend renting an event room there. Is it worth the drive?...yes

If it wasn't for Airbnb, I probably would have never found Courter Country Farm...but I am oh so…read morethankful that we did! Looking for a place to stay overnight in the Poulsbo area on the app, I happened upon a listing for a renovated greenhouse with glass walls and ceiling, perfect for stargazing, that would make for a perfect, romantic weekend getaway for my wife and I. I booked it immediately. Upon arrival, we learned that the greenhouse was only one fantastic feature of a similarly incredible property. Courter Country Farm, run by a husband and wife combo, Kevin and Denise (fantastic, welcoming people!), is equal parts functioning farm, event venue (weddings in particular), campground, and country store. Apart from the main farmhouse, there's an attached "saloon" (open from 6am to 10pm) with functions as a community gathering place, complete with kitchenette, restrooms, pool table, chairs, patio deck and modest farm store, with items such as soaps and snacks available for purchase. The expansive property also includes a petting zoo, containing (at the time) the cutest little bunny I've ever seen (for sale! $25! we almost took him home!), goats in an adjacent fenced barn, alpacas down the hill, and a chicken run with at least one talented jailbreaking rooster, who apparently loves to show off his Houdini-esque escape act! Further down the hill, you will find the converted greenhouse/Airbnb rental, adjacent to the tent-covered, patio event space, where most of the larger events are held. Now, I know what you're thinking: glass house, glass walls...no privacy. No problem! The hosts make themselves scarce no later than 8pm, so you are left to your own devices in the evening. Campers staying at the single camp space, tucked away down a short forest path along a creek, are similarly encouraged to give the glass house a wide berth. It's important to note that, as it is a greenhouse with transparent walls, it can grow extremely warm when exposed to the summer sun, and lacking insulation, bitterly cold in the winter. Don't plan on spending the day hanging out inside during warm weather: let it cool down in the evening, and you'll be just fine when it's time for bed. A powerful fan is provided, if needed. Similarly, for the colder months, a heated mattress pad is provided; the hosts informed us that some previous patrons booked the room in the dead of winter, when the whole structure was encased in snow, and they loved the warm, cozy feeling of snuggling into a heated bed while the world froze around them. Honestly, that sounds pretty great, too! Additional features include a firepit, yard games, hiking paths, and porta-potties (for any after-hours needs, since the saloon closes between 10pm and 6am) help make Courter Country Farm a truly special destination for anyone looking for a cozy weekend getaway, without venturing too far from civilization. Proximity to Poulsbo is a huge plus; anyone who hasn't explored this Nordic novelty needs to do so, promptly! One of our favorite towns in the Pacific Northwest! Additionally, Port Gamble and Port Townsend are 15 and 45 minutes by car, respectively, meaning there is no shortage of amazing places to visit, just a short drive away! One more thing that definitely needs to be mentioned: if you are planning on hosting an event here, such as a wedding, Kevin and Denise will work gladly with your choice of caterer! Most other event venues require that you use whichever they are contracted with, but fortunately, Courter Country Farm doesn't have that requirement. Courter Country Farm is the sort of place I would love to own, develop and dwell in myself, if I had the talent and resources. Lacking both, my wife and I are thankful that Kevin and Denise are such fantastic stewards and hosts, who have put a substantial amount of work, care and love into making this place a magical venue for prospective newlyweds, overnight campers, and couples looking for a romantic weekend escape in one of the most unique BNB experiences out there. After staying in the glass house, I can safely say that have no stones to throw; Kevin and Denise will just have to make do with gushing praise instead.
