Food fine, but:
don't trust Khans to deliver your food on time
dont trust the food to be even warm
dont trust everything you have paid for to arrive
dont trust them to check your email complaint
dont trust them to respond even when you telephone them
and when you call a second time 3 days later, dont trust them to offer a replacement meal by way of an apology
For the full background, here's my original email complaint:
Good morning,
I am writing to complain about the meal we had delivered last night: it was late, cold and incorrect.
Firstly, we were telephoned to say it would be delivered in 55 minutes to one hour. I rang you after 60 minutes an was told it would be two minutes. The food actually arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes. We did not receive an apology or an explanation from your delivery man.
Secondly, we always ask for your delivery guys to knock quietly as our baby is sleeping, and yet again they rang the bell, waking her up.
The food order was also incorrect:
1) We paid for 2 onion bhajis and only received one
2) We ordered a garlic naan and received a plain naan
3) We ordered a Palak Murgh an received saag aloo
4) The condiments accompanying the popadoms - we received 2 x mint sauce. I appreciate these were complimentary, but some chutney or onions would have been much appreciated.
Finally, the dishes we did receive were cold and small.
There is a wide choice of Indian food in Epsom, but we always remain loyal to Khan's. Last night's experience was completely unacceptable and I'm struggling to find a reason why we should not take our business somewhere else.
