I was a little apprehensive about coming to this huge chain of offices but it turned out really positive! BRIEF HISTORY: Brothers Henry & Richard Bloch founded the company in 1955 providing accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services. They decided to end the Bloch name with a "K" to ensure correct pronunciation of the business. Today, H&R Block operates in the USA, Canada, Australia and India. THE OFFICE: This particular branch is located in Kahului on the first level of the One Hana Highway Building (same building that houses Maui Medical Group Kahului and Clinical Labs). They share the same parking lot as Mercedes Benz of Maui with an adequate amount of free stalls. It's a simple space filled with numerous cubicles and surprisingly no clutter. We had to file for an extension and they were great with accommodating us. Bob helped us the entire way through. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Pricing was a little steep at $670 for the two of us but maybe it's due to my spouse's intricate business filing. Regardless, it's good to know that this office is here should any issues arise with our taxes. OVERALL: So far, so good. We'll see how the year plays out and if we return next year.
