The collard greens were seasoned perfectly, and the mac and cheese was rich and delicious -- definitely comfort food done right. Each meal also came with cornbread, which for me was the only miss of the night; it didn't have much flavor and didn't seem super fresh, but to be fair, we went around 6 PM, so it might've just been late in the day. We tried two desserts -- the pound cake and the peach cobbler. The pound cake was a bit dry, but that peach cobbler? Amazing. Sweet, warm, and full of flavor. We also got a side plate of fried catfish, and wowww... that was a showstopper! Crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned -- I'd honestly make the 30-minute drive again just for that catfish alone.
