It's a nice Jack in the Box, but I've noticed it's not very busy at anytime I've been by here. There were a couple that i frequented in Bacliff and Texas City. They were located on corners that had a lot of traffic and usually always had two or three cars in the drive through at anytime. The people here at the Silsbee location are friendly enough and seem to care about their jobs which is something you don't see a while lot of now days. I ordered the regular tacos which I haven't had in quite awhile. They haven't changed much other than costing a little more, but what don't in the last two years. The young lady that was the cook asked if I would pull around and park on the other side which I didn't mind, but didn't know why as there were no other cars in the line. After a few minutes she brought my order out and explained that she wanted to cut up some fresh lettuce to go on my tacos!! I think that was very caring of her and showed she had the initiative to take care of her job! I can go with that!!!

Coupled with getting lost in China and being chased for several miles by a dog, our Blizzards were certainly a treat. We left with some awesome classics, Snickers, Oreo and Butterfinger. I had the most incredible experience at Neil's. I was in Beaumont to attend my uncle's funeral…read moreservice, and was reading about Neil's on....well, Yelp . So...I set the GPS, and decided to drive to Lumberton. Neil's is located in a convenient store and the folks I met inside were very nice. The lady behind the counter helped me order...which I was very grateful for. While waiting in line, I started a conversation with three gentleman. They were very pleasant and somehow we got on a discussion about my military service. We talked for a bit, and they thanked me for my service. As a was getting ready to pay for my meal, the young lady behind the register told me it was already paid for. I said...are you sure?! She showed me the money that was left behind for my food, and I couldn't believe it, so I asked her again, and she said...yes, this is for you. I remember shaking the hand of the elderly gentleman who was at the register before me...I never got his name. As he walked out he again said "thank you for your service". When i went to look for him, he was gone as quick as he was there. I was humbled and emotional. To the gentleman that paid for my meal, I want to say thank you for your unselfish act of kindness, and may God continue to bless and keep you. By the way...the food was great! I had fried catfish and wings. Definitely recommend!
