Getting there around opening was a good call, because business started to pick up very quickly, and the counter seating that surrounds the exposed kitchen was limited. It was fascinating to listen to the locals use shorthand terms to place their sandwich orders with unique specifications. My latest visit was just for tacos and they did not disappoint. I appreciate being able to get lengua tacos. They were juicy and tender with the right salt level. I also appreciate being able to get them without onion. Their squirt bottles of salsa are good accompaniments to the tacos. I also had chorizo and chicken tacos. Both were good. The dilemma is, which to order. I will keep coming back. I might make it five stars. It's close.

I just did the regular classic on white.... kinda small, but taste is spot on!! for a hungry guy I would say spend the money for two to get full... cost is about 8 bucks.... they steam the bread, open the pocket and stuff it full of the stuff you like, then the meat is last if you do the meat. well yes they do have rabbit food as well!! I will have to try the veggie only versions.... if it is 1/2 as good as the gyro it still wIll be a winner! this place is inside the pen/jeff BP gas station so there are choices of chips and drinks for an extra cost. this is a to go order place.

I should actually thank them because all of their hate put Jimmy John's on my mind and a craving in my belly. #spicyeastcoastitalian #Jimmy John's #freakyfast #freakyfresh Seriously, I understand that the founder is a piece of shit so if you are so compelled to boycott the stores just keep this in mind. The dude has already made his billions and you not buying any of the delicious sandwiches that JJ's makes, your not hurting him one bit. Plus if you boycott him, think of all the extra time he's gonna have on his hands to stalk endangered species across the planet and the oceans. You people just don't think things through You are however hurting the people who depend on their jobs at Jimmy John's to put food on the table, pay their student loans, buy beer & assorted narcotics and contribute to the tax base so when seasoned citizens such as myself decide that enough's enough, I'll still get some semblance of social security coming my way. So go ahead and be the cry babies that you are while the rest of us enjoy the deliciousness that is Jimmy John's. I went with the #7, the Spicy East Coast Italian. This is quite possibly the perfect sandwich. Proportionately it couldn't be any better. The bread must have been kneaded on the bronzed thighs of innocent virgins. There is just no other way it could be as good as it is unless it's laced with Peruvian flake in which case I applaud them. Fact is, it was so delicious that I went back the next day and got another #7, plus I took a friend who had never been there before and they fell in love with JJ's as well. Another convert and I'm just getting started. Next to Nova's lobster rolls and the bologna and cheese sandwich that she brought to me one night when I had the crappy apartment on the Southside, Jimmy Johns just might make the best sandwiches on earth.
