The seasoned fries were far too seasoned, the au jus was far saltier than au jus should be. They did add onions to the French dip as requested, but the bread was cold and obviously came out of a bag without any additional prep. The chocolate martini was supposed to come with whipped cream and sprinkles; obviously from the picture this was forgotten as well. The chips/dip had queso that had been sitting in a warmer for a long time, as a film had developed on top. Our server was friendly, but flighty. "Are you guys ready for your checks"? "No, I'll probably have more to drink". "Here's your checks, no hurry". Asked for extra napkins, she forgot those too.

We are so glad we did. The atmosphere is a dicey but very clean and the vibe looks like a great time. It was a quiet afternoon but the ladies went out of their way to make us feel like we belonged. This visit was only for a couple of cocktails but we saw some food come from the kitchen and it looked on point! Kara made a tasty treat and shared it with some of at the bar and that sealed the deal! We will be back in to give it a shot. I will update my review on the food after that! See you soon!

Americanized Italian food like spaghetti and fried ravioli, mixed with barbeque ribs and brisket, and Midwestern fare like the tenderloin sandwich, and a few odd balls that were popular in decades past, like blackened fish. FOOD QUALITY: Mediocre. Lots of factory-made/frozen items, and simple things you might as well make at home. MENU FAVORITES: The only thing I go for is the barbeque brisket and/or ribs. MENU FAILS: There's nothing wrong with Italian American food, I just think it's odd to have it on the side with barbeque. FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICE: The dive bar in the back seems like a local's place where newcomers are kept at arm's length. KITCHEN SERVICE: No complaints. One time I got the barbeque platter and an older guy with a white beard came out and watched me eat for a little while. I guess he was proud of his food and wanted to see if I liked it. COMPETITION: To my knowledge, there aren't any other restaurants offering barbeque ribs and brisket right now - hence the reason I go here. For Italian food go to Venezia instead. For American food go to Maxwell's instead. For a steak go to TK Prime instead. ATMOSPHERE: I've only ever eaten in Woody's, and not the main restaurant; the reason is because I typically dine alone, and if you show up at the front door by yourself, they will ask you to take a seat back there instead of in the dining room. Woody's is a dive bar in the back; dimly lit, sticky tables, and two televisions for every customer showing whatever the current sports game is. There's a mysterious downstairs room with a jukebox. The main restaurant seems bright and cheery, if a bit close.

We tried every side today because my in laws were visiting who havent had much Korean food and were not sure what they would like. And a little of each sauce. The black garlic was my fav but its very thick so not a great texture for everyone; not overwhelmingly garlic. The lava egg was delicious, very spicy especially with the little red pepper slices. I eat a lot of spicy food and it still gave me hiccups, but not so spicy I was sweating or tearing up. A healthy pang of spice but not a complex flavor and it disappears pretty quick from the mouth. The double dunk everyone liked very good texture good mix of sweet and spicy. The sweet butter one we got the kids was good not spicy at all but extra sticky. I liked it but preferred the double dunk. The asian bbq I really disliked but everyone else liked it; it was very strong saltiness and sweet. MiL ordered the pork ribs which were fine, a little tough but good flavor. The kids wanted fries so we added some on but they tasted a little stale and the spice mix on them wasnt popular they were barely eaten. The cucumber kimchi is just the cabbage with cucumber added! We got both and I was like oop. It was a little dry and not very strong to me. The sweet potato was disgusting nobody liked it. VERY strong salty muso flavor overpowering, very soft mushy sweet potato. We threw it out. The egg salad the kids loved and it was a good flavor, pretty crowded pleasing. LOVED the daikon perfect flavor texture etc. A nice snap just a bit sour. The mac was popular with the kids, I did not like the extra thick cheesy sauce personally. LOVED the spinach side dish what a surprise! Very refreshing and well cooked, a bit of sourness but not too much.

If we ask them where they want to eat, Pizza Ranch comes out on top 9/10 times! If my daughter were to write this review, she'd say her favorites are the Ranch sticks, chicken (drumsticks), corn, shredded cheese, mandarin oranges (and any other fruit), Sweet Swine pizza (she has a strong love of pineapple on pizza), any fruit pizza, pudding, and ice cream. Sounds about right for a five year old. But, this is my review! So, I'm sure to mention I love this place, because my kids love this place and I know they'll eat well! I know I'll eat well too, maybe too well! This specific Pizza Ranch is my personal favorite! Consistently a great experience here! Why... 1. Only one time have they not had milk available for the kids to drink. Tip, ask when you pay for milk if you want some! 2. The iceberg lettuce is shredded! This might be embarrassing to admit but, I craved this when I was pregnant with our daughter. Plus they have a second lettuce option. 3. Variety! They have three "bars" of food. Cold, hot, and pizza. All of them are stocked well and with a lot of variety. For example, three fruit options on the salad bar. 4. Clean for a buffet. Let's face it, buffet places aren't ever the "cleanest" places. But they do a good job here. 5. Staff is consistent and so nice! We tend to see the same people each time there. Employee retention says something without "saying" anything at all. So, if you are a Pizza Ranch loving family or individual, I highly recommend this specific location!

They're quite consistent as well, making sure the wings are done the same way almost every single time. Every now and then, the fries are a little different, but nothing to complain about in my opinion. We tend to opt for the boneless wings, and they're typically really juicy. Also, the cheese fries are absolutely delicious! Their ranch is by far the best out there as well. Service: Our order is almost always ready quickly; sometimes by the time we arrive even, and we only live about ten minutes away. We order online, and they have gotten it right every time. The staff tends to be a little...cold? For lack of a better term. They aren't mean, but you're also not greeted with a smile when you walk in. Ambiance: It's a pretty typical sports-centered restaurant. Not too many decorations or intimate seating styles. They do keep it clean, which is a huge plus. The overall noise level varies, but it never seems to be obnoxiously loud.
