Worst service I have ever had or have heard of anyone having! One complaint about service got me shouted at and accused of beastiality by what appeared to be the woman manager, she was certainly no lady. I was a regular for years. But hadn't been in a few years. Because I recently moved and it is now the closest KFC again and I've gone back a few times now. Since returning I have NEVER gotten what I ordered and paid for. Apparently the staff doesn't know what "dark meat" or "white meat" means. So whatever you order you get what they hand you. The first two times this happened I let it go and ate it rather than drive 5 miles back from my place to the drive through. Today it was just too much and I drove back and asked for what I paid for. It is apparently against corporate policy to allow a customer to do that. An angry person who was acting as a manager never let me finish a sentence after that so I got no information from then on. I tried to explain about the repeated screwed up orders, but was not allowed to. When I kept trying to explain, I thought most businesses would want to know something like that, she kept shouting me down. She claimed to be filming all this on her phone, given her behavior I don't understand why. Every time I tried to finish a sentence she shouted over me. Usually with insults. Some vulgar personal insults like when she said, "I bet you f@ck your dog!" (My 25 lb dog was visible in the back seat of my car.) If ever a business deserves to fail and close its doors it is this one. read more

Apparently they don't sell food at mealtimes. An interesting business plan, and frustrating for people seeking you know, a meal. The manager argued with us, refusing to fry any chicken. At 5pm, which seems a prime food time. Disappointing and frustrating. Don't waste your time here. read more

I guess there are things that are just better in California, we just moved here to Oak Ridge and ordered KFC because of their coleslaw. They just delivered and it looks 2 large ordered is really just one large order if you combine the 2 half filled orders. Kind of a joke. If I could give zero I would. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had. You stand at the counter for at least 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging you are even here. The girl just continues to work and ignores you, she knows you're there. My online order said it was ready 15 minutes ago, I'm still in waiting for it, not done. I don't know if corporate views the online wait time and this place is just pulling a game on them to look better. Well at least she finally gave me a free drink after sitting here for 40 minutes. How hard is a 12 piece meal? Update: just got home with my meal after waiting over an hour. The gave me 9 pieces when I paid for 12. Paid over $50.00 for this garbage. You could drive nails home with the biscuits, they are that hard, totally inedible. Stay far away from this place. I can't even imagine it could get any worse. I called them up, they told me they can't refund over the phone. What I would get refunded, I'd spend on gas. This place should be shut down immediately and revamped. Stopped there on my way back from Ohio like I always do, this time when I pulled up to the speaker to give my order, a ladies voice came on and said it would be a few minutes, I told her that would be fine. After 5 minutes of waiting I pulled around to a parking spot and went in, I was meet with a young man that told me they do not serve from inside the building and that I would have to go to the speaker and give my order. I told him that I just came from there after a 5 minute wait, he told me that they were outside smoking and that they deserved a break, I can understand being in need of a break but I was the only one that was there. This KFC is not the model that Colonel Sanders had in mind. Perhaps this establishment is run by one of the colonel sanders imposters. For the record I do not eat here but my sons love it so I picked up food for them. After sitting in the drive-through for 25 minutes I finally made it to the window where I was told it would be another 10 minutes if I wanted fries. I quickly made the change to another option so that I could get out of there. When I pulled in and when I pulled out there were employees hanging out at the gas station next-door. The gentleman that is a manager lacks people skills & tact. I have seen this on more than 1 occasion. I have 30 years of customer service experience. I understand that Covid-19 is an issue right now but about a week ago my wife and I went through the KFC drive-thru in Oak Ridge and I probably would have felt better if they would have just slapped me instead. It took about 4 minutes before someone acknowledged I was even there with no one else in the drive-thru but me. They were rude like I was bothering them or came up 2 minutes before closing, no it was around 3pm. Then I pulled up to person at the window, he looked at me and said nothing, the other employees were laughing and cussing each other, so the person at the window laughed and slammed the window shut without the first word to me. So drove off without my order and don't think I need to go back ever. I think corporate needs to come in and retrain or at least clean house. read more

Visited this location and obviously corporate needs to step in and help. Drive thru speaker has more cracks and rattles than a 1920's car and you can't understand anything they say which may be the same as inside since I had to say 3 times I want the 8pc Extra Crispy $20 fill up that comes with 2 Mashed potatoes, 1 Cole slaw and 4 biscuit and they continued to try and give me the $21 dollar meal that only comes with 2 sides and not 3. Either that or they don't understand English.....all while they say there is an 8 min wait on chicken and then 2 cars later when I get to window there is now a 10 min wait on biscuit......its 6PM which means dinner....better employees and better planning for dinner rushes are definitely much needed read more

Went through the drive through- ordered a little stacker combo asked for ketchup. Pulled up to the window and reminded the associate a second time for ketchup. I was told to pull up because my food had been "put down fresh". I pulled up and waited 5 mins. She brings my order and when I get back to work, I have the wrong thing. They gave me a colonel sandwich with the orange sauce on it which I can not stand. The wedges were small little hard pieces that I couldn't even eat and no ketchup. I looked at my recept and she had charged me for the wrong combo as well. I figured just a mistake I'll call and complain about the wedges. Good food a little slow service. The buffet is the best bang for your buck. The are consistent with the buffet in food in quality and in price. The drive through will take you about ten minutes, but food is still fresh most of the time. Good customer service. read more

The last 3 times trying this KFC they have gotten the order wrong and left part off. Wrong sides , missing sides, missing chicken and twice crispy instead of regular recipe. If you try then, check your order before driving away. Tried to call and complain and never got answer at the location. This last Tuesday evening, my son said he was hungry and wanted chicken. We were heading back home and I pulled into KFC at 9:45pm. The open drive thru sign was still lit but when we pulled up to order no one spoke. I then drove up to the window and saw a employee sweeping and wouldn't look at me. There was another employee sitting outside smoking a cigarette, and I asked him if KFC was still open. Then sign was lit and the hours stated the restaurant was open until 10pm. He said yes. So I drove around again to place an order. No one spoke to me again. I pulled up to the window & honked the horn. The employee just looked at me. I then drove up to the employee sitting on the sidewalk & told him I will be filing a complaint. He had a bucket of chicken in one bag and had another bag full of containers of food. I figured he was waiting to follow the person to the bank. I was there 15 min before closing. The restaurant looked liked everything had already been cleaned. I know employees are not thinking of the business and just want to go home, but actually these actions would be considered theft by the company. Not only are the not making a sell, which would have been about thirty dollars, the company is still paying the employees on the clock. I went across the street to Zaxby's and didn't have any problems at all. My nine year old son was no longer upset and he said Zaxby's was better than KFC. The employees at KFC could have spoken to me and state that because of their lack of business they were going to close early. I would have been more understanding. Went at 530 thinking that the bar would be hot and fresh. It was so bad that I will not be back. Not only will I not eat in I will no longer get to go. The Chicken was not cook all the way the potatoes, peas, corn and mac n chees was old. When they did put up fresh mac n cheese they did not put a spoon in it and when I ask about it the shift manager just took the old one out of the server that they had pulled with the old still on the spoon and drop it into the fresh. If I could give you a neg rating I would. Get it together if you want to stay in business because if you keep this up you will put yourself out of business. read more
