They have a large poster advertising their specials of the week for $5 and yet they charged $5.95. The chicken batter was undercooked and tasted really bad. I was there with a friend and my friend ordered the same sandwich and yet his order came 10mins after mine. The clerk had a really bad attitude. Not worth visiting. The location in North Vancouver ordered a large bucket they refused to give me any breast pieces. They claim breast is very expensive! I'm not happy they refuse to give white meat. Not only was the cheese curds on my poutine ICE COLD I ordered 4 I SAID FOUR of the s'mores brownies. Got charged for 4 but was only given one. Ordered a combo which is SUPPOSED to come with a DRINK. I had to remind them to give me a cup and was looked at with an attitude. I love poutine and as soon as I took a bite I almost vomited. Every month or so, I get a batch of coupons for KFC in my mailbox. But the nearest one is a fair hike from my place, so I can usually resist the temptation. (A few years ago, I lived just down the block from one, and if the wind was from that direction, the temptation was maddening.) I have a friend who refers to the product as "Chicken Valvoline", but it's always been a guilty pleasure of mine. Well, this month, the push is on for the new "wrapstar." It sounded good, so I decided to take the hike and give it a shot. Oh, dear. The person at the counter (whose nametag said, "manager") was downright curt, the prices were well higher than I remembered them, and the much-vaunted wrapstar was essentially an extra large twister with salsa and corn chips inside. Not bad, by any stretch, but not mouth-watering, and definitely not worth a 24-block hike. I think I'll find it easier to resist temptation from now on. read more

Going to the actual store, I miss the outside banners and canopy. The staff are great, I think they could use some more room to move around and more staff to help them during the busy times. I just recently want to complain, because I just received my order of the 8 piece bucket feast. I confess - every time I walk past KFC hungry, the smell gets me. For years I avoided this fast food nightmare, And then one day it happened - I was starving, it was late afternoon, I was headed home, and I decided "What the hell" hearkening back to the days of my youth when my parents used to buy two dollar chicken boxes on tuesdays and that was a special treat. Ordered a Plant-Based Sandwich Box Meal and a Big Crunch Sandwich Combo. When I got home with my order I discovered that the 'real' chicken sandwich and the plant-based sandwich had been wrapped separately, but in exactly the same foil style paper - no indication which was which! I had to break the sandwich apart and then tear into the meat to find out which was which! On doing so I also discovered how old and limp the lettuce leaves were inside. It looked inedible. To make matters worse the fries were limp and literally stone cold. I had to reheat them in the oven to be able to eat them. Ordered Biscuits didn't get them paid for them. Store tried to give me 4 boxes of soggy fries instead. Also forgot Lg gravy that was ordered and paid for but since I checked my to go bag fixed that. Asked for a refund for the biscuits told they don't refund!!??? So you pay for something they don't have. Nice. Then tried to make up for it by giving me a can of pop...$3 can of pop. Ouch.... We have received lots of home delivery and tried lots of pick up on Lonsdale. Keep hoping this place will change. But it is always the same crappy outcome. Some of the pieces of chicken we got today were just slightly bigger than a chicken wing you might get at Costco. To make matters worse, we paid fifty bucks for a small amount of chicken. Had a really bad experience at this location a few years ago so was always nervous about returning. I'm glad we did. The service (Princess "Steve" and the gang) was absolutely amazing ~ fun, up-beat, knowledgeable, quick. Steve really knew his product and had a great sense of humour, a younger guy was in the back bopping to the music and smiling and joking beside his co-worker as they went about efficiently organizing our dinner. The whole experience was just great ~ I haven't been treated that well in ANY establishment in a long, long time. To top it all off, the food was fresh, hot and delicious.. I had no problem phoning the management last time when the service was horrible ~ rest assured I'll be calling to compliment the staff that served us tonight. Fantastic! read more

This KFC seriously sucks on so many levels. First off, this location has been here for YEARS and they havent done anything about the size of this tiny "restaurant". This is the only KFC in North Vancouver and its always over packed with everyone bumping into each other. Second, it BLOWS my mind how a FOOD facility does not have public bathroom. They have ONE bathroom in the back of the store for their employees only. Third, the DELIVERY service here is ridiculous.. try not to do delivery unless you absolutely have to. The call centre reps are so unprofessional, so rude, and they take so long to answer the god damn phone! When you finally place your order, it always takes more than 1 hour to receive it.. thats IF they actually even make your order in the first place! I have had multiple incidents when it had taken over an hour, and when I called the store they said they never even received the request. Its just so unfortunate how a big chain like KFC does not take their Customers needs serious. They really need to hire better staff, expand their locations and just provide GREAT SERVICE! read more
