At 8:45 on a Sunday evening cashier, Italia proceeded to slam the window on me for asking to change my change for a dollar I thought I had given her the correct change knowing I didn't. I asked and added $.10 to get a dollar back to create a complete dollar and not have change. I didn't proceeded to ask for ranch after the door slam. It's fine. Very rude! We was trying to order a little over $100 worth of food but while ordering every respond was so rushed! "What sizes you want?" Very rude! I've been here a few times since last week. The drive thru is pretty fast. The service isn't the best. It's ok though. I ordered a crispy chicken breast the first visit = DRY! On the second visit I ordered hot wings unsauced & they were warm but not fresh. They changed the hot wings. They don't taste as yummy as they used to. The biscuit was fresh on my last visit, and the mashed potatoes were warm too. This place is convenient to my job, so I will be going back for lunch. Next time I will order something else. Don't go after 9pm, even though they're open for another 2 hours they won't be dropping any chicken. Weird, but annoying.

KFC was once a staple for my family on special occasions and even more rarely our family Sunday dinner when I was growing up. I always loved getting an original recipe breast with mashed potatoes and gravy and Mom's sweet tea. Well fast forward 50 years and here I am taking the time to finally use the only way that I know exists to communicate to head quarters and in general to the John Q public types. Issues here locally to me in Hampton Virginia may not be typical elsewhere, but it's VERY typical here now a days. Restaurant #G135135 8:50 pm 11/29/2024 = Today marks my last visit to KFC until or unless I'm somehow aware that customer service and QUALITY food has been clearly elevated - RESTORED to what should be the number one requirement when servicing a customer that is spending their hard-earned money in good faith for an excellent meal. This evening? 4 pc original recipe tender combo $12.36_ Not one person in the door or in the drive through. Hmmm - warning perhaps? Took several minutes to complete this simple order because the young man taking the order spoke so poorly, I just simply couldn't understand him. He took my card for payment and when returned to me, I said very clearly to him "Thank you sir" with zero response from him. Subsequently followed by stuffing the bag (my order) out of the drive through window and as I took my order, I again said as clearly as I could AGAIN "Thank you sir" and yet again no response. Get home to find a meal hardly fit for my dogs. VERY old and hardly warm tenders, fries and a horrible biscuit - All just old and yuk. I was really looking forward to the OG tenders, because when done right, KFC original recipe chicken I feel is the best chicken out there PERIOD. It has been years since I've had KFC OG chicken even close to as good as back in the day, but now a days it's especially far from standards. I used this location as my complaint, but sadly, all the location for me are terrible. Just FYI so please be aware that this is my only review for KFC ever so understand that I'm not an axe grinder. I have had enough and I'm done with KFC, but hope these type reviews find the right person to fix this so KFC doesn't become just another legacy chicken franchise to go belly up and blame it on the economy or something other than the truth. At speaker, had problem with a lady who was not familiar with my coupon. All of the sudden a couple of times a male voice came over screaming to pull around. This male needs to have his headset taken away as he cannot control his emotions. If he may be special needs please be gentle and support him in some other function within the facility that does not require him to deal with the public. read more

I picked up 2 delivery orders from this location today that were hours apart. Both times when I came in a women employee who I'm guessing is the manager was yelling and demeaning one of the employees. She did not help me when I came in and did not stop yelling. Another employee was walking around laughing and making odd noises. The other employees looked like they were walking in a mine field. Such a shame that young man probably his first job is experiencing that. I could not believe the way she behaved. If it was my restaurant I would have fired her on the spot. There was so much tension in the air I did not even want to wait to be acknowledged so I could pick up the order that was just sitting there getting cold while she carried on like a . I am quite shocked that this is the first KFC review I have ever done. This is the go to place for my son after a swim meet, he LOVES the crispy chicken. Like most chains they have good ones and bad ones. This is the second time at this KFC, first was drive up service over six months ago. Upon entering I noticed that their was some debris on the floor and a few tables needed cleared. The place was dead and only one customer in line. The drive thru had a few cars. I had a couple coupons to use which would make this a pretty reasonable meal. The coupon said can only use one per purchase. However, when looking over what to use the employee said I could use two... SCORE. She was also over the top nice and smiled the whole time which is awesome for a fast food chain if you ask me. The meal came out within minutes, was HOT and almost correct. They mixed up the sides on our plates, but I easily switched that around with my son... no sweat. The crispy chicken, mash/gravy and biscuits all satisfying to both of us. A stop by the restroom to wash all of that greasy chicken and found it to be in good shape. When coming back out I saw an employee begin to take out trash. However, at that point it had been almost 30 min and not busy. The dining room should have been give attention and was not. So taking off one star for the untidy dining room and mix up on sides. Based on a couple of visits to this location it seems to be a KFC that I would hit up again. I've been to this location several times and have never had a bad experience. I've never experienced rude staff, bad food or long waits. When I come I normally get a five dollar box with chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. I usually get my order within five minutes. Today was no different the staff was friendly and made sure I got the drink and side I wanted, he even asked me what sauce I wanted again when I got to the window to make sure. The line wasn't long, the meal was like any other Kfc location. I have no complaints besides the fact the speaker seemed to be a little muffled and static when I was giving my order. the chicken is good if they can actually finish cooking it. i've probably been to this location about 10 times over a 5.5 year period. Out of the 10 times, i've probably had thoroughly-cooked chicken about 4-5 times. i guess those are good odds, who knows. still prefer that Popeye's across the street, over these guys. read more

I went into KFP this evening and ordered the three piece combo with grilled chicken, and mac and cheese. The place was clean, which is a big plus for me. One of my pieces could NOT have been chicken. I'm pretty sure it was pigeon. It was small. Hence KFP. I will include a picture of it and two pieces that a friend had. The pigeon was dry and the chicken wasn't much better. As fast as we got the food, I'm pretty sure it had been sitting there for a while, waiting for a sucker like me to come buy it. I was disappointed to say the least. If I could I would give zero stars. The customer service sucks and the employees are not very friendly. They completely ignored my mom and I when we came in to pick our order up. The chicken was bland and wasn't even the right kind of chicken. Asked for original not crispy. The farther I got down to the bottom of the fry container, the fries had a fishy like taste to it. The only thing was good was the biscuits. I would never recommend a place like this to anyone. I definitely wouldn't even let my dog eat their food. One of the employees had nails almost as long as a single finger. The other girl that worked there, all she cared about was sweeping the lobby and acted like we were a pest to her when it came to helping us out. The night shift customer service was trash. I went to order a chicken sandwich, said it was going to be a 10 minute wait. I said fine, I pay for my food the cashier asked me to park up front so I did and made sure I didn't interfere with the drive thru line. I waited almost an half hour for my food for another employee to come and check me about me parking in the front of the building is a "safety hazard for us and you have to park by the door" it's a safety hazard for me I'm a woman whom you all have waiting outside in my car late at night for "fast food" that's not ready. Been there a half dozen times. Of my experiences one time was decent. First the credit card reader for the drive through was broken for almost two weeks, they were accepting cash only. Then they didn't have soda of any kind, only tea. Another time, they only had grilled chicken no fried. Then just today, drive through to get lunch at work. While waiting in the line the card reader broke again, so the two people in front of me had to go inside to pay. Luckily I had cash. This place is just poorly managed, and the wait staff is almost always rude. One positive experience out of six does not a good review make. read more

That chicken had been over cooked & then sat around. There was no way it should have been sold. 9.00 I spent!! For some overdone, tough, dried out chicken. I ordered the 4 piece comb with the grilled chicken with one side and one biscuit. The store was clean on the inside and out and the service was fast and friendly. The 4 piece had two very small pieces. One was an extremely small wing and the other was the smallest chick leg I have ever seen. It was no longer than the chicken wing. The other pieces were medium size. Of the 4 pieces one was mildly juicy. Unfortunately the other 3 pieces were so dry I had to drink to keep from choking. The side I had was mash potatoes with gravy. It was eatable. The biscuit was so so. It came with a medium drink. The price for this was just under $10. It wasn't worth $10 considering how little there was of 4 pieces of chicken. My friend had a 3 piece combo and the only difference is that I had the miniature chick leg to go with mine. I am guessing the 3 out of the 4 pieces that were so dry had been sitting around for a very long time. A few weeks ago I had the original recipe from another KFC as a guest at a picnic and it was good. I will not order KFC's grilled chicken from this location again. Tonight they had to check every order to see if they could meet it. No chicken and waffles. No pot pies and the regular chicken was hit or miss. 2 hours were left to closing. Everyone looked frustrated. I'm saying it was a bad experience and also adding why not shut it down if you don't plan on cooking anymore and/or don't have more? So I usually don't eat KFC but I went to this particular location after being highly disappointed by the competitor Popeyes. The service here was not only great but fast as well. I didn't have to wait long for my order I would definitely go back and let my peers know about the fast and friendly service! Great job guys! read more

I go here every now an then an it's alright. Your better off going to popeyes tho honestly.. The menu is sometimes misleading an poorly made. I'm doing a review of the 3 tender combo with potato wedges, mac n cheese, sweet tea and a cookie plus ranch sauce an a biscuit. First off the chicken is good but dry an seems to be this way everytime. The potato wedges are very good and their ranch dipping sauce is thick an good too. The Mac n cheese is very good an alway hot. The sweet tea is very good also. The biscuit us okay and the cookie is okay as well. It cost around 7 dollars. Don't go here expecting to get a signature combo for the Famous Bowl because apparently it does not come with a side even though the sign clearly states that it is a signature combo and comes with one side and a medium drink. The guy at the drive-thru window was rude and did not honor the fact that we were staring right at the sign and what it stated.
