Some staff are nice but a fair amount are less so. I've been told by some employees that we are allowed to walk through the drive thru when the lobby is closed, however some people get mad and yell at you for doing so. Not only that but they constantly get orders wrong. It doesn't matter if you order online or in store they always managers miss something

This place is outrageous. The owner charges more than corporate prices, does not honor well defined posted prices online that he is aware of that's misleading people to order chicken with a $15 surprise when you go to pay. We are a small town with few options so this guy thinks we will all pay. I'm now boycotting this joke of a franchise that never gets your order right has mushy corn and the biscuits made me feel like I was going to break a tooth...all this for the low low price of $45. Save yourself the heartache and go to Grain Station or Momiji Sushi just blocks away. The ROTHs down the street has chicken precooked for way cheaper.

The order wasn't ready at the time it said it would be for pick up. They forgot the gravy for 2 orders or mashed potatoes for our family meal deal which we found out when we got home. The kids were so disappointed. Overly greasy chicken, dripping in grease. Nasty! The corn was cold and tasteless. Mashed potatoes were cold too. Not going back here. Though, after calling the grub hub customer service line ( the phone # listed says it's out of service) Their effort to make it right $10 off the purchase of your next meal. NO THANK YOU! Not going back here!

This KFC in Monmouth is consistent in one thing...... Poor Service. I have multiple examples which leads me to wonder why I ever try again. Besides never once getting my order right or having want I want without a 15 min wait. The manager has never been apologetic for their services short comings but the experience that lead me to write this review is as follows: I ordered a pot pie and they asked if I wanted it in a $5 meal I said no because I am not into wasting food and didn't want anything else so I get to the window and they charge me $5.50 because I only got the pot pie and not the meal. When I asked why it was more for less food they said I ordered wrong. My request to pay the $5 was denied. read more

My husband stops by on evenings where we have both been extremely busy. Yes it is expensive for three chicken strips, one side and a biscuit, but to spent $10.00 to $14.00 for two meal that aren't cooked completely is ridiculous. This has happened the last several times. We live about twenty minutes outside of town, so for my husband to turn around and take the food back is out of the question. I usually just finish cooking the chicken, but last week I had, had enough so I called. I was asked to bring the food back, when I explained the time it would take us to get back I was told no problem, our names would be written down and the next time we were in town we would get replacement meals. We had to go into town on Saturday so after doing all our errands we stopped by expecting two meals. We were told by the Manager that we had to bring the meals back. I don't know about you but I usually don't keep food in my fridge that has the possibility of getting botulism. I had thrown the food out, if I had been ask when I made the first phone call to keep the food I would have gladly put it in the freezer. Needless to say KFC is no longer on our list of places to eat in Monmouth - Independence. We spent a little more, just under $20.00 at the Wonderful Mexican Restaurant in Independence -San Antonio's, had a wonderful meal, friendly, fantastic and had leftovers for the next day. I had to give you one star as I did eat the coleslaw. read more
