I decided to do DoorDash lunch from KFC. It had been a while since I had their food and it sounded good. The lunch arrived on time, it was well packaged, and the contents were still warm. Who knew a quick stop at KFC in Lincoln would be this good? The young gentleman at the counter was super helpful when I couldn't decide what to order--he pointed me toward the new spicy wings and wedge fries. Such a tasty and delicious choice! The wings had just the right amount of kick, and dipping them in that delicious hot sauce was next-level. The wedge fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned, the kind you can't stop picking at. Bonus points for having an ice-cold A&W root beer on tap--it paired perfectly with the spice. The restaurant itself was spotless (always a plus when you're grabbing fast food) and everything about the stop was quick and convenient. Going to a potluck for Thanksgiving and I am not a cook. I decided to purchase the KFC Thanksgiving box. In total I paid about $110 and I'm totally satisfied. The turkey is between 12-14 pounds, the mash potatoes and mac and cheese are both 100 ounces and there are 12 biscuits. The mash and mac were pretty standard in regard to the taste, the turkey surprised my friends and I. Tender and juicy and had a really good flavor. This box alone was more than enough to feed at least a family of 4-6 and the price wasn't bad. I recommend to anyone who doesn't want to stress out about the cooking part of Thanksgiving. Went to KFC's drive through and ordered the Tuesday $10 bucket of chicken. Brought it home and put it in the fridge. Didn't check the order, but regret not checking. The Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday and i expected KFC would have a special on wings ... i asked the kfc clerk if they had wings . And she said no we dont carry any... im sure i had some before here and they were pretty good. Looked everywhere on the menu and there were no wings to be found... As my Minnesota friends would say...This place is trash. KFC/A&W, this specific location truly gives these two massive corporate chains a terrible terrible representation. A few months back I went to an A&W in St. Helena and I was truly shocked how yummy the food was and how incredibly tasty their A&W rootbeer tasted. I went their 3 times and all 3 times it was super consistent and yummy. Which I thought I would never say about a fast food restaurant. This one in Lincoln, total trash. 1. Customer service, trash. 2. The food. I ordered a Coney dog, trash. Also they totally got the order wrong. The chicken from KFC, I swear I didn't order the mini-chickens...haha. The mashed potatoes, cold and tasted super funky. I literally took a few bites and I threw it all away. 16.00 worth of crappy fast food thrown away. Just went to this location to attempt to pick up a DoorDash order and the manager Steph said I need to confirm it without giving me the order so I went to go grab it and confirm at the same time. He pulled it back and said that's not how it works. So I have news for you, Steve and the owner of this particular restaurant one will not only be not eating here. I cannot stress this enough. Just sit in this dining room for 20 minutes before placing an order. This restaurant is so unclean and is not ran well. First and foremost the management is extremely poor. It's sad that she's fooled somebody into paying her to do nothing. No one ever greets you and or even says hello. We have gone to KFC many times over the years. We are not very smart. We keep hoping they will get better, no no no. We've tried the drive thru and quit doing that since they never got our order right, from missing items to giving us things we didn't want or order. Stopped driving thru. Now walking in we check our take out only to get home and find bad food. Chicken is overcooked, dry and just bad. Also find items missing but able to correct since walk in. Tried again tonight after quitting several months hoping better and wanting to give them another chance Nasty food again, won't be going back ever. I'm not quite sure why I continue to give this place another opportunity to provide edible food and decent service. My visit last night confirms that this may be the worst fast food restaurant in Lincoln, CA which says a lot. Not only do the employees not listen to your order, the food had obviously been sitting under heat lamps for hours and was lukewarm, the fries old and soggy, and the employee cold and rude. When I got to the window, I repeated my order including a request for specific sauces, honey and butter ,(which they never provide unless you ask) only to get my order with items missing and the coleslaw that I ordered absent. I stopped by tonight and went in the drive-through at 8:10. I gave my order for the 12 piece chicken dinner. I specifically said no wings please. The response was "Oh, we don't have any wings tonight and we don't have any breasts." I replied OK, please give me mainly thighs and just a few legs. When I got home our bucket was predominantly wings with a few legs and two thighs. The chicken tasted old and was dry. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Whoever owns or manages this franchise needs to address these issues. With this location you rely on locals for most your business. We went to the KFC in Lincoln, CA for small family meal bucket. We asked for 2 breasts and 6 thighs original. They gave us excuse they couldn't give us that many thighs they would run short. It is 5:15 PM on a Saturday. Give me a break the dinner crowd hasn't even started coming in. We get home and the size of the thighs are dinky, a little bigger than wings. The Breast are not much bigger than the thighs. No, it was not original, not sure what it was supposed to be. The coleslaw is very watery. No napkins. Wow horrible we just went there and ordered a box of popcorn chicken and when we got home it was half full of crumbs and hardly any chicken I didn't order batter. We also ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no tomatoes onions and pickles and when we got home it had all the produce on it. Since they already made the bucket with regular meat i told her can they just change the meat into dark meat so i can use my coupon? She said no because they already made the bucket. I wish I read the reviews before you got my money. I went here 05/13/19 @ 11:00 The food was miserable. The chicken was soggy, gross and after paying I wish I had gone anywhere besides here. Look I am sorry for leaving a bad review, I really didn't want too but this food was for lunch with my child and in my mind this was on the verge of child endangerment. It has been so long since I can say I was just happy with some where. I don't think I have been just HAPPY with somewhere since Snap Dragon in Lincoln. That really sucks too bc I like to try and stay local when I can. So here we go any way. My mother is up visiting from the Wine Country. She had a craving for KFC and since we have one here in Lincoln I went off to go pick up a bucket of chicken. I have to admit here that I was already anticipating some sort of issue. The reason being in all of the trips to KFC my family has not had any I am able to recall where it was simply go get some chicken and slaw then enjoy. After placing my order in the drive thru I pulled up to the window and payed for my order. I have read a couple of people's remarks about food being just short of tossed at them and of course I took it with a grain of salt. Well that was a mistake. I should have taken it as a warning. Damn near a garbage bag sized sac was almost thrown onto my lap which I tried to play off since the girl who delivered it appeared so small and I didn't want to look like a wuss. Lol. Seriously... Moving on..... Transaction completed, me starving, I did what hungry people do, I reached for SOMETHING to stuff in my mouth to hold me over for the 8 minutes it takes to get back to my house.. The something I grabbed this time was a biscuit. No butter or honey since I was after all driving. That should be safe, right? Not for me. I literally gagged and spit out the bite I took which was almost 1/2 of a biscuit... I don't YELP because I have a SMALL mouth... lol... Spitting out my mouth full of dough, I stared at the biscuit in disbelief. It was freaking RAW! Wet, soft, doughy, disgusting. I had no idea how much I disliked dough until I filled my mouth with it. Ok, so I got a raw buiscuit, what is the big deal right? Wrong. Now I will admit that I probably would not have been quite as "unhappy" had this been my first disappointing trip. It was not. The last time I had KFC in fact my wife was brought to tears. She refused to tell me how bad her trip was until days later when she knew I would not react because I had no idea who was even working at the time. This time I was there and actually the one who got the short end of this stick. I looked over at her and she looked frightened. That look of fear made me realize I needed to keep my cool. Food is about the only thing I really get angry about. No that is not accurate, it is the only thing I will quickly lose my cool over. I can not stand some one messing with my food. Just a pet peeve I suppose. So I turn around and head back to KFC. I stop in the parking lot and get out. While walking to the door I hear ..."just please don't yell. Give them a chance to fix it." So I enter the door and walk up to the counter. I am greeted and respond simply. "Manager, PLEASE". The Manager comes out and I tell him the biscuits are raw. He responds with "Oh I am sure they are not raw." SMH. I took a step closer to the counter and said between clenched teeth, "Please do not call me a liar sir. I am hungry, I am very unhappy, eat a buscuit, tell me they are fully cooked. You won't. You can't. Make it right. Now please." I never raised my voice and I never broke eye contact. To his credit, he did infact make it right. He added half a dozen pieces of chicken, cooked buscuits, and a desert of some sort. I didn't want any of that. I only wanted my buscuits to be cooked. At the same time I am not anorexic and accepted all the offerings. That earned them the 2 stars. I swear I am not a total A-hole or a bully by any means. I am not very nice how ever when I am hungry or disgusted by my foods condition when served. It is also not a great thing to make my wife, exwife, or any other person associated with me cry. Another pet peeve I suppose. Hopefully if I am ever made to come back it will be a GOOD experience not requiring a return trip. read more

Standard KFC The Lincoln location is the closest to my house so I have been here a few times. Nothing bad or great to say about the place. It's fast food. The service has always been okay - polite and not too slow. They have never messed up an order. So, I am pretty satisfied and would return here again. I have never tried any of the A&W items. But I like the idea of the wider variety of options and it's always nice to have a root beer float option nearby. read more
