I would strongly advise thinking twice before eating at this KFC / Long John Silver's location. My order was completely unacceptable. I ordered a fish and shrimp platter with two pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. I did not receive my coleslaw, and the mashed potatoes were the only part of the order that was correct. The main issue was the food quality -- the fish and shrimp tasted like they were cooked in old, burnt grease. The food was dark, overcooked, and had a stale, unpleasant taste that made it inedible. I contacted the store to address the issue and spoke with the manager. The first thing I was asked for was a receipt, which I provided. I was told to come back for a refund. However, I was never informed that the original payment card would be required, even though someone else had paid for the order. When I returned, I was told I could not receive the refund without that card. I then asked for corporate contact information. The general manager refused to provide any corporate phone number and stated that there was no direct corporate contact, only a survey system that routes feedback back through the same store management. That means complaints essentially go right back to the same person being complained about, which defeats the purpose of filing a complaint. At no point did I feel like my concerns were taken seriously. Instead of accountability, I was given a runaround with no real solution. The biggest concern is food quality and safety. Food that tastes like it was cooked in old grease should never be served to customers. On top of that, the handling of the complaint process felt dismissive and unprofessional. I will not be returning to this location and would caution others to consider their experience carefully before eating here. read more

Accidentally ordered the 15$ bucket on the app. from Bishopville.....luckily I was able to tell them to hold it till we got to Lexington. So that worked out perfectly. Fresh hot delicious chicken. Didn't realize it was drums and thighs only. But they were some of the best chicken we have had in a long time read more

I have lived in Lexington for 8 years. We often eat at KFC. In the past the food jas ALWAYS been great, but service and atmosphere were often lacking. HOWEVER, we went there on 11 August around 5 pm. Our attendant tendant Anna was VERY pleasantly, smiling- she was just nice! After we ordered, we received our drink cups and before we even got our cups full, our order was ready. We have never gotten our order so quickly and it was pipping hot. Although I didn't get her name, the supervisor working this evening was just as pleasant. I'm not sure when these changes were made, but as long as these two, or people with the same pleasant personalities ( good luck finding another two), I recommend this KFC with 5 's read more

Haven't been there for very long time. Cashier named Kat was very rude and condescending. Told me that I might have to wait cause they couldn't hold up drive through. I was never asked if I would wait. All I wanted was bucket of thighs and large coleslaw. She was also rude to the other employees. Never told me thank you or diddly squat. Quite evident she Hates her Job! Wow! read more

DO NOT FALL THE NEW AD 8 pieces with four sides .... Ridiculous!!!!!! The chicken pieces were so SMALL the sides you might get two tablespoons if you're lucky AND don't order from Door Dash!!! Our order was delivered almost an hour after it was picked up and it was a soggy freaking mess I'm in Texas and KFC is not the only game in the town and they failed horribly!!!! Church's Chicken wil be my go. They do chicken in Texas! KFC TAKE NOTES ON HOW CHICKEN SHOULD BE DONE read more

The food that I ordered was 50% correct. The sides were correct. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was just a plain chicken sandwich. One of the chicken twister wraps was supposed to be spicy and it wasn't. We didn't get the sauces we ordered. This location seemed understaffed since the couple employees that were there seemed very frustrated at how behind on the orders they were. One employee was using their loud voice to speak unprofessionally to the others. I did a mobile order set for a specific time and I got my food 15 minutes later than the requested time. I believe the employees were trying their best but may need more help and better training. read more

Food is horrible. The service is slow. They make you wait then bring out cold food. I would not recommend stopping here. You will have to wait and the food will not be good quality. 0/10 read more

So slow!!! I arrived at 11:55 am. The 2 cars ahead of me ordered at the drive through, then pulled over to wait. I was asked to do the same. After a 12 minute wait, I went inside to see if my lunch was ready. I waited another 5 minutes. I was one of 2 people inside. This was my second visit, thinking the first (which was the same) was just a bad day. It's the norm. Never again. read more

If you look at any of my other reviews, you'll see that I am a generous critic. It took much too long to get our food. Once we got it, our food was over-cooked. I asked for ketchup and the person just walked away. I waited until another person came by that gave me two packs. I explained that we had two large orders of fries, so the person gave me another pack. All the other customers seemed unhappy with the service as well. Worse experience ever in a food establishment. read more

They should close this place. The food you receive is terrible. The original chicken has no flavor. If you own this place, you should be embarrassed. Nobody has been trained on cooking at this place. No wonder nobody was in the restaurant or in the drive thru at 6:20. Want happen again! SAD read more

Not very clean pretty much all the tables and the floor have stuff on them, the staff has no personality. The food is really good. This location also has a Long John Silvers in it. read more

I hate leaving a bad review but I'll keep this one short because there isn't much to say. I used to come here a lot but not really happy with my last two visits to this location. Both were pretty much the same. Ordered some chicken and fries. I'll start by saying The food took forever to come out and the two staff members I dealt with weren't very friendly. Almost like they don't enjoy talking to customers or even being there. Food: The chicken was a little soggy, greasy, and had little crisp. The fries was very salty and honestly not good. The restrooms were dirty but the restaurant it's self was clean. read more

Waited for 15 minutes after I paid for 2 pieces of fried fish. Was told to park in spot three and it will be done when it's done. I will not be back. Everyone seemed very rude and short tempered. Corporate offices must not be treating their employees well. I would have left without my food if ai hadn't already paid in advance, now I feel trapped and wasted 10 bucks. :( read more

Horrible service. been 15 min and still waiting on 6 tenders, nothing else just tenders. And come to find out they no longer sell the fried apple pies, so disappointing. With so many good local chicken places, this might be my last time at a KFC. read more

I went thru the Drive-Thru for lunch. The speaker is great, I can hear the employee and they can hear me (I assume, since the order is always right). Everytime I go thru the drive-thru, the employee is nice and very polite. They never fail to thank me for coming, which is nice these days. I got the BBQ sandwich combo, which is a good lunch value for a little over $4.00. Also nice to be able to choose seafood if I'm not in the mood for chicken or if I've got my picky-eater teenagers with me. read more

The chicken pot pie is the absolute bomb. No negative comments about it at all. It is worth the entire $5.45

I wish I read the reviews before going I was craving Long John Silver's though so I made the long ride just now and got a fish meal and tender five dollar fill up.My poor child cannot eat the chicken because it is hard as hell and all of my hush puppies were overcooked and hard like a rock and my fish was rubbery and freaking weird. My husband is telling me to go back to the restaurant and throw the food in their face and ask for a refund but I am so tired and I don't wanna go back in my car and drive all the way there in that traffic just to do this. The manager should be ashamed of themselves for having all these bad reviews and changing nothing about what they do people just need to stop going there so that they change and have better service I feel like when that guy was taking my money he had the most guilty face like he knew we were getting crap and he felt bad about it. read more

I would give this location a zero!!! After ordering grilled chicken breasts (on their menu) and getting text order delay messages for over two hours, I get a voicemail from Chicago, ILL saying this location does not cook grilled chicken!! Why didn't one of the texts tell me that??? I was able to place an order from a reputable restaurant so my family can have a special dinner. Do not visit this place. It is horrible! ALG read more

This could possibly be the worst KFC I've ever been to, the order was two famous bowls no corn. The order was repeated and once I got home I opened the bag. The corn glistening yellow. If you want your food quick this isn't the place. read more

I just went to the Drive-Thru and left after approximately 15 minutes of waiting. I had 1 car in front of me, and noticed as if service seemed to be slow. To track myself, and make sure I wasn't just being impatient, I started a timer on my phone. 10 minutes after starting the timer, I drove away. Add the 3 or so minutes I waited before starting the timer and you have approximately 15 minutes in the drive thru of a fast food business. I contacted corporate, and hope they will fix the problems with this particular location. KFC is very close to losing a customer read more

First off, the dining room was filthy. Paper, food all over the floor, tables, dirty Windows. I ordered and it literally took 15 minutes. During this wait, another customer and I smelled cigarette smoke! We were near the counter (no cars at the drive thru, I checked) - I think an employee was smoking IN the back!! My food was cold and disgusting. I didn't eat it, threw it ALL away. Will NEVER return! read more

This review is for KFC in general. It always seems like the service is slow (or the fact that I come in just for one simple sandwich and I am always behind someone that is ordering a multitude of items). Service always seems to be slow (what is the point of fast food ?!?!?). This location (along with another location) has managed to drop some of my money through the drive through (when I paid for my order) and proceeded to tell me I had to come up with the extra money - even though they are the ones that dropped the money! I am sure if it was the other way around (them returning my change) and they dropped some of my change - they would not reimburse me for the change they lost! read more

Horrible experience, they took half of our order and then said to hold on, had to wait at least 5-10mins to complete the rest of our order. They thought we wanted a dr. pepper which we did not. When we finally got to the window all of the employees inside were complaining about the fact that customers were coming in last minuet before they close. We were told that they did not have the option for crispy chicken, did not have chicken legs, did not have cole slaw, biscuits or respect for the paying public. I had read the bad reviews before and not had such a terrible experience until now. Just really is unfortunate that this is the closest available KFC. But we will be going to the nearest one other than this location from now on. read more

Worst service I've ever had any restaurant. I want to the drive-through they parked me for 20 minutes when I get home 30 minutes later my order is wrong and I specifically repeated my order three different times and they still got it wrong...... Rude, paid then told food wouldn't be ready for 8 mins. If I had known I would have went down the road. Redd Rolled eyes the entire time I was sitting at window waiting. Bad attitude, and from the looks of the other reviews this place needs a management overhaul. I mean how many bad reviews do you need before you fix yourself? Redd (doubt that is her real name) needs to move on to something else an let someone who wants to work in the food industry have her job, very miserable person to deal with. If I had the option to put no stars that's what this wonderfully sorry place would get. Food was greasy as an oil change. Have a great day! read more

Had a bad experience with service and food. They didn't seem interested in even servicing us. Got our to go order wrong and the biscuits (which is usually my favorite of mine) was hard as a rock. I dont know if its just horrible management or how long this has gone on...It had been about a year since we had gone there prior to this visit. But We WONT be returning anytime soon.!!! read more

The food was overpriced. The manager and the cashier had terrible customer relationship. The food was cooked earlier and kept in warmers. My fish was more breading than fish. I saw some coupons beside the register, but was NOT offered one. I complained and one of the kitchen help asked me where was my fish. I told him that was my problem...there was none...it was all breading. I will not go back there until they change the present staff. The service and food quality used to be very good, but the present staff has brought them down to nothing....wake up!!!! Correct this problem or loose in today's society. read more

I don't write negative reviews, but when I do, they are worth it. Avoid this place at all costs. First, I was not expecting speedy service: KFC is known for being slowly cooked and slowly served. So when I pulled into the parking lot and saw 4 cars in the drive-thru, I decided to go inside. One long, horrible story short, it took me 10 minutes to be acknowledged, 5 minutes to place an order for a Popcorn Chicken Go Cup, and another 15 minutes for the employees to bother with giving it to me. With the exception of the 4 cars in the drive-thru, myself and one other customer (who had already ordered) were the only customers. Why I wasted my time here, I will never know. All I can say is that hands down, this was the worst fast food service I have ever seen. I mean, they didn't even try. I used to work in a quick serve restaurant too, and there wasn't a single employee here that had enough self respect for themselves to do this job well. I wanted a refund and to leave before my food came out, but I doubted the employees had the mental capacity to handle such a task. On top of it all, my food was cold and stale and the same 4 cars were still in the drive-thru. Do not waste your time or money here. read more

Rude service. I asked for a bucket of chicken with two extra sides. The cashier said I can't get that with a "pick 20" ($20.00 fill-up). I said that was OK since I didn't want that, I just wanted a regular bucket of chicken that comes with biscuits and 2 sides and wanted to also get 2 extra sides. She called the manager over and the manager acted like I was causing a disturbance. She asked me what the problem was. I pointed to the menu and said I want to get that bucket of chicken right there with two extra sides. She said I would have to pay extra for the extra sides. I said, yes, I understand that and am willing to pay extra for the extra sides. She seemed disgusted by the whole thing. They had to void out whatever it was that the cashier had rung up and then rang up my bucket of chicken with two extra sides. Very rude service. I last tried this place about two years ago. No improvement. Will not ever be going back again. Ever. read more
