After the customer ahead of me got his order, an employee notified me they do not offer waffles at that location. She offered a substitute which I was not interested. While she had to get assistance from two coworkers, I was able to get a refund. Why allow the kiosk to accept orders for Chicken & Waffle if the waffle is not available at this location? If it is only temporary issue, nullify the inventory until it is eventually available. read more

The first time I went to this KFC location, we ordered the family bucket which should include mashed potatoes and gravy. When we got home we realized there wasn't any gravy in the bag. So I called to let them know that the gravy was missing and that we would be coming back to pick it up, since we weren't far. They suggested we come by the next day. I told them we're eating now and I'm coming to get the gravy now. They then told me they were out of gravy. I asked if they could have told us that when we made our order and they had nothing to say. I told her we're coming by anyway and I expect macaroni and cheese in place at the gravy because we're eating now and not tomorrow. About 2 months later we made the mistake of going to the same KFC location. Once again they forgot the gravy. It's super annoying that they don't say they're out of something. I have been to the Lewisville KFC three Tuesdays in a row for the mythical $10 Tuesday bucket. Not once have I received chicken. Not a single drumstick. Not even a rogue nugget. Week 1: "We'll have chicken in 15 minutes." Reader, I waited. I aged. I reflected on my life choices. I left with nothing. Never again. Week 2: "Sorry, we're closed. We're understaffed." I went to Kentucky fried chicken in Lewisville on Main Street. I went inside and requested 24 hot wings and I wanted them made fresh. To my surprise, when I got home, they had mixed the old wings in with the fresh . This happened with me on chicken about four years ago. At that time I decided to go to the Kentucky Fried chicken on Hebron or 407 where I always received fresh chicken. I decided to give the one in Louisville a try when they return with the hot wings . The original recipe breast is always dry. I received a meal from there yesterday around 11:30 a.m. It was obvious the chicken they gave me was from the night before. The wing was so dry, that you could not even open it up. So, I bit down on the chicken breast and literally had to pull the chicken out of my teeth it was so tough! You cannot call them and complain because no one answers their phone. I call some 800 number and filed a complaint They told me that they would refund me $5. My meal was $10.27. The chicken is wonderful when this restaurant has freshly prepared the genuine, moist, original recipe. Problem is I always have to ask if chicken is fresh or has it been sitting around a while. Too often I'm given chicken that's been sitting too long. The coating is then hard, dried out and lacking flavor. I don't care for KFC crispy recipe. I always get original. There are some times the original recipe seems off. Like the recipe has been tweaked and isn't the "genuine" KFC original recipe. When the store was called, the employees there pretended to be the manager.... when the real manager was finally reached he refused to accept that it happened and also refused to give out the district manager's name/number. Alright. I've been coming to this kfc forever. It's always been great. But the past EIGHT visits, my food has been wrong or they are out of half the items on the menu. I usually get the #5 crispy with 2 drums and mashed potatoes with no gravy. 3 of my visits, they were out of crispy which is fine but they didn't seem to have much else either. There was a wait for pretty much anything I was looking to order. 5 of my visits, my entire order was wrong. And even once I'm pretty sure I got someone else's order. God, this place is unbelievable. First off, I like the original recipe and absolutely hate their extra crunchy style. But today I thought I would try their wing deal, 12 wings for $10. But I guess I forgot that KFC has the smallest chicken anywhere, and I mean anywhere. So when we were waiting on our food we noticed that the dining room was probably 65*. There is nothing worse than eating in a too cold dining room so we got our food to go. Worst experience at KFC ever. We had ordered a $5 fill up, two sides of mashed potatoes, and two waters through the drive thru. The cashier had the worst attitude ever when he gave us the food. The mashed potato portions combined were barely enough to feed my dog, and he didn't even give us water. He kept asking us for more money and didn't give us our receipt either. While on the road, we called to complain about the horrible service, but the cashier HUNG UP! We called again on a different phone and immediately began telling him the problem. Both times that I visited this place, the chicken was rubbery as if it had been cooked and sitting for a while. Also both times, the cole slaw containers had been filled sloppily and not wiped off before they were put in the box. We made the mistake of not checking the order at the drive through window. We also ordered two grilled breasts a la carte which they got correct. This was not an isolated occurrence for this particular store. We patronize this store because it is the closest but (no exaggeration) half the time there is something wrong with their handling of our order. We have been visiting this store for about 7 years and we see high turnover of personnel, so the problem must be beyond individual workers. Only one person ahead of me who had already ordered. Waited almost 10 minutes before someone came to take my order, Man ahead still waiting on order.
