We eat there a couple times a week. Always had good service and good food. I went their Saturday evening. The girl did not act like she knew what was on menue. I asked for hot wings and wedges. That was the worst wedges I have ever gotten from their. They were cold and hard. I went about 5:30or six. So no excuse for not having fresh ones. This is a very good KFC. Clean, always courteous service and the orders are always correct. The employees that works are always upbeat and good with the customers. It would be nice if they still had the Buffet. when I'm in the mood for KFC, this is the location I go to in Herrin. read more

They hired my son knowing that he has to be gone two complete weekends a month visiting his mother per a court order. Immediately, they started making requests of him on weekends. Can you come in on Sunday, etc? Right away. My son is 16 & felt intimidated. They started scheduling him on weekends, when they weren't supposed to. They said he agreed to it but I don't believe it and feel like they shouldn't have asked to begin with. I told the Manager that she sounds grown enough to know that visitation weekends begin Friday evening and go through Sunday evenings. Family comes first in our home. With planning and organization, we were willing to let our son work two weekends a month. What has society come to?! Shame on the Herrin KFC. read more

KFC has good food and we often went there for lunch or dinner. I had just gotten my husband out of the hospital and he wanted a grilled chicken breast to take home with us. I will not be going there anymore from the way I was treated!! Just be very carful when you walk in. Their floor tiles has always had a somewhat greasy residue on them. Naturally even at home the grease particles would get in the air and settle to the floor which I would clean it right up. I'm assuming this was from the grease particles at KFC also! I know because I was the one that stepped aside to let the older gentleman walk out and in doing so (I had tennis shoes on) I slipped and fell on their second door entrance frame. My husband was in the car, he had just gotten released from the hospital and I went in to get us some grilled chicken. Their restaurant had maybe three customers and they all said they didn't see anything when asked my the workers. The workers came over to me trying to get me up, which I yelled "NO"! because that's is the last thing I wanted them to do and I told them again to go get my husband. Oh course I was crying and in pain and this worker said "lady, you can walk I can help you up"! My husband came in and between him and a worker they put me in the car without any pressure on my knee and shoulders. Then they had to fill a accident report out, The time of accident, any survalance video recording on-their answer was NO, any witness-answer was NO, KFC floors mopped every so often-their answer was NO, what insurance they had-their they said there was- NONE! Then on top of that all they wanted to do was give us some lousy chicken to take with us to the hospital and they kept asking us over and over, what a joke! I ended up having a fractured knee and one broken bones around my shoulder area. Then at my 6 week follow up another ex-ray was done only to find that there were 2 broken shoulder bones and not just the one, the second one was hiding behind the other one and made it look like just one on the X-ray This time I had to have surgery. You would think as big of a corporation/business KFC is they would at least try to contact me out of common courtesy and consideration to see how I was doing after the fall like one I had, but No! So as far as being considerate to their customers nothey just want you in & out of their restaurant let alone stating they have no insurance, which I find that hard to believe to this day! read more

Stopped by for a bucket. Ordered the $30 meal. (10 pc, 3 sides, half gallon drink, 4 cookies, 4 biscuits.) Asked for Legs and thighs only. 5 original 5 extra crispy. I only received 3 original only 5 pieces edible the rest were dry and had been under the warmer too long. Mashed potatoes were not good and Mac and cheese was mediocre.
