Chatting to the proprietor, he says that they don't use onion based stock in good that's being served in the restaurant, although they do for takeaway. Chicken curries get chicken stock, beef curries get beef stock. The lack of onion apparently makes for thinner and more authentic sauces, and I'm totally convinced.

I telephoned my order through and it was taken promptly and I was advised of the estimated time of my pizza delivery and the total cost. I found this really useful, as I could prepare the crockery and the correct money before the delivery driver arrived. The delivery was 5 minutes later than the latest estimated time, but it was a saturday night, and I do live on the opposite side of town. Lovely pizza - I almost didn't want to share!!!! Giving three stars because they got my order wrong once (I'm a vegetarian and they gave me a chicken burger) but that's only happened once so touch wood they keep on being good from now on, in every other aspect I've been pleased at least. Its tucked away off the main road so look hard, and its only a takeaway, so no option to eat inside. Beef Chow Mein, Chicken Curry, Cantonese Style Sweet and Sour Pork, Crispy Chili Beef - just some of the dishes I've enjoyed from Wing Wah. They do have a few traditional English dishes and also offer set fixed price dinners.
