I usually never post reviews, but this was pretty bad. I was given a box that was covered on the outside with grease, when I opened it, the box of fries was only a quarter full, the biscuit was either burned or a day old because it was a brick, and my soda was watery. I wouldn't have minded it if was just one issue, but nearly my entire meal was worthless. At least the chicken was fine. I will never return to this location. read more

I went through drive thru for lunch today. And what a disappointment that was. I ordered a 2 piece breast and wing crunchy combo. The young lady at drive thru was very polite. She took my payment and gave me the receipt. 30 seconds later she informs me that they didn't have and crunchy white meat. She gave me two options. Either changing to original recipe for the breast and wing or get crunchy dark meat. I was the ONLY car in drive thru. I chose to the original breast and wing. I stopped to eat it and when I grabbed the wing it fell apart as grease was dripping, so I grabbed the breast and the whole skin pulled off and it to left a puddle of grease in the box. The biscuit was placed between the meats and acted like it was a sponge for the grease! You would think that the breast was either greasy or juicy, but the meat was very dry. As far as the mashed potatoes and coleslaw was good but the mashed potatoes was as cold as the coleslaw was. My question is why take the order and paid for what I ordered? Shouldn't you inform the customer that they were out of the crunchy at the time of placing the order? We have been going to this kfc for 8 years and had other issues with that stores food quality but never did anything about it. Today's visit is going to be the LAST time we will go there. So for our Fried chicken craving, we will go elsewhere. I took some pictures of this to back up what I was talking about. $32 for supposed 8 pieces of chicken and 2 sides?? We got 5 pieces of chicken basically, no condiments, minimal napkins, and snotty teenagers at the window. NOT WORTH IT by a long shot !! It's no wonder we rarely go out to eat. Just awful all the way around in my opinion. read more

KFC has lost the sandwich wars and not because of the sandwich but because of the service! We ordered 4 chicken sandwich combos all with Dr. Peppers, two with fries and 2 with Mac n cheese. She had such a bad attitude and just kept asking "what else". I know people can have a bad day but jeez. Then when she handed us the drinks they were pepsi. She argued with me that we ordered Pepsi even when the receipt said Dr. Pepper. It must be a horrible place to work because everyone seemed angry. Not a good experience! read more

Went there to get 2 five piece chicken tenders meals, they said it would take 5 minutes and I said no problem, I waited about a half hour and I demanded my money back cause they still wasn't done, the drive thru was quicker and people was getting their food no problem, so if you want fast food this is not the place to go. The chicken was some if the smallest I have ever seen. We got the 8 pc. Meal for $20, but the chicken wings were the size of my thumb, I measured it. The breast was the size of a normal thigh. If that wasn't bad enough, the potatoes were disgusting, no flavor, more like watery nothing. I use instant potatoes in my house and these were terrible instants. And the biscuits were hard. This was about 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Everything should have been fresh, but was anything but! I will drive another half hour to another city so I don't have to go to this KFC. No more! read more

Me and my dad went to get three chicken sandwiches, the lady in drive through was beyond rude as I asked her to repeat my order..

We got the biggest meal deal Saturday evening. I warned the other 3 people of the disgusting conditions of this place in the kitchen but they saud KFC is the best. So I let them all 3 got salmonela. My wife is over it today Wednesday but spent Saturday night and Sunday vomitting the other 2 were diarrhea only. Me haha. I wont eat from that shithole. Look at the trays they put you chicken on. They are literally black on the sides easy to see. This KFC should ve comdemned and its been bad for yrs now. read more

I have always gone to KFC in Dunnellon in the past and the food has always been fine but today was a disappointment. I ordered a 12-piece bucket of grilled chicken with the sides for my family to eat for dinner. The chicken was old and very dry and the biscuits were hard and stale as well. Needless to say, we only ate the sides and had to throw away the chicken and biscuits. We were also given complimentary cinnabon biscuits with our order. Those were stale and hard as well and had to be tossed in the garbage. It was great the man at the window was amazing I forgot what his name was but his voice had a lisp but was so calming and he was nice

We went to this store yesterday at about 6 pm after work to get a bucket of chicken and when we got out of the car we smelled a grease trat/dirty oil in the air . So we went in ordered our food to go and to be honest the service was good. But, as we were waiting we saw caulk around the bottom of the drink machine and it was leaking . We continued to look and realized the place is dirty. Greasy looking . We took our food home and tried to eat it and the cole slaw was dry and warm, gthe biscuits were hard as a rock and when we tried to eat the chicken it was inedible! It tasted like old spoiled oil. We had to throw it all away so, this morning we called costomer service to let them know and they sais they would call the distric manager and let them know and could we give our phone # so someone could call us. Well my Husband answered the phone and the woman on the phone was from the Dunnellon store and let my husband know under no uncertain terms that none of what he said was true . They were busy so everything was fresh.No they weren't we were the only ones there and 2 cars in the drive up. She started yelling at him and telling him he didn't know what he was talking about that she waited on us . No she didn't it was a completely different young girl obviously on h the other womans drawer. After letting him know she thought he was lying she hung up on hmi! .We called back to customer service and explained what had just happened and the Lady said they would send the distric manager there and it would be resolved. Thy are sending a voucher for our meal which wasn't our goal just to takecare of the bad food ,the dirty store and the nasty night manager. The result is we will never go back to that store and will make it clear to our friends and family not to go there either. Apparently the customer isn't always right whether they are right or not. read more
