However, I've given Wendy's multiple second chances. I used to love them and have eaten in the original Wendy's located in Columbus several times beginning in the 60s. But I had two really bad experiences with two different Wendy's not associated with this one or I'd share those experiences. Regardless, I've gone over 10 years without ordering any meat products from any Wendy's until yesterday afternoon (I should have known better)! For my meal, my wife ordered a single WITHOUT cheese and add pickles and onion, with extra onion. However, we were given the burger with 2 pieces of cheese, 14 pickle chips, and one tiny piece of onion. The only thing they got right was the single piece of meat (notice on the picture of the receipt for the first combo the receipt indicates single only cheese, no cheese, pickles w/onion extra onion so it was ordered correctly). My wife knew to check the order before leaving and found the problem. She took it back in and described the issue. The lady inside said she could not "take it back" but would make it right - take it back? Kind of a strange response since she just wanted to return a bad order for them to confirm the issue and then hopefully dispose of it. She gave my wife a single without cheese, extra PICKLE, and a tiny piece of partially cooked onion the size of a thin ring that might fit over my thumb. So, my wife decided to bring that home along with the messed up one since Wendy's wouldn't discard it for her (that's how I got the photo). In the photo of the bad one, notice the gobs of cheese, extra pickles, and a tiny piece of onion. Remember, we asked for pickle with onion & extra ONION ... ridiculous! When I opened the "corrected" burger, I found it loaded with pickles (13 pickle chips), of which many of them had some kind of thin, runny, wet, white stuff on them (mayo?), the pathetically tiny ring of partially cooked onion and the burger that had been only partially cooked and sliced nearly in half for some strange reason - the tiny piece of onion was on one corner of the weirdly cut and undercooked meat. It all went into the trash. Never again! This is the final goodbye.
