And instead of holding the Fishtown BID accountable for not cleaning up their trash (which a business is entitled to do themselves if they have a legal streetery, which this is not because a valid food license is a prerequisite for one), he invited me to a neighborhood cleanup instead. Yes, that's right, he asked me to clean up after a business trashing our neighborhood and charging $42 for pies. This raises a pretty basic question about his judgment and integrity. Why would he silence someone for raising legitimate questions about whether a local business is following the same licensing rules everyone else is expected to follow? These licenses cost money and exist for a reason. If a business is operating without them while other businesses comply, that deserves scrutiny, not censorship. And if Christopher or his team at Keller Williams disagrees with the concept of businesses being required to operate with a license to serve food, they're welcome to explain why. The first thing I'd ask myself if I was looking for a realtor is if they'd give me any reason to suspect they would take shortcuts with paperwork and legal issues. Is this really who you want to trust to find your next dream home for you?

When we asked for proof per legally stated as a condition in our contract, she lied that she would send it over, but never did. She then intentionally ignored us when we followed up with her, which caused us to rescind it. She suddenly contacted us 3 weeks later when the original buyer's financing "fell through," which was most likely due to the home not appraising at the purchasing price. We accepted it since we just started our home search and liked the neighborhood. Everything went quite smoothly until she and her lazy team did not pick up their Lockbox & large For Sale sign still staked in my front lawn weeks after closing despite us reminding them. She did not apologize for that and sent a passive aggressive email to my agent when I sent a final reminder. Someone in her team eventually showed up with no advance notice nor apology whatsoever and knocked on my door early in the morning when I was at work. My contractors were fortunately there that day to answer the door. My final bad experience with her was when we asked if she can reach out to the sellers about something important and she completely ignored us. We have all the emails as proof of her unethical behaviors and horrible communication. This woman is so unprofessional and I don't recommend dealing with her if she's the other party's agent!

All due to misguided loyalties. We had asked Kate to refer us to a banker who could help refinance our home as well as my mother's home (who was doing so to "sweeten the pot" and help us in our refinance). Kate's referral turned out to be a very unscrupulous woman, who told us outright lies and half-truths (easily verified online) about the process, insisting that we also lie about our residency in our loan application etc. When, as a friendly gesture, I tried to inform Kate about the odd behavior of her referral she dropped us right on the spot. This leads me to believe that Kate's business practices are also in league with the unscrupulous banker to whom she recommended Very unprofessional if not outright dirty. It's very sad to see someone you went to school with turn to the dark side, but I guess it happens. I cannot recommend her to anyone who values honest business practices.
