Incompetent, unethical, irresponsible, unpleasant. We've had multiple issues throughout our handful years living in their building--noise from neighbor, leaking, power outage, construction dust, etc--perhaps not uncommon issues for an old building like. It's not the issues themselves, but how they responded that was frustrating. Each time contacting them for help, we were answered with one of the three: 1. Complete silence: They simply ignored. No response at all. 2. Human shield: They send the building super to apologize on their behalf. Super could help with certain things--e.g. leak--but often it was beyond his power--e.g. construction dust seeping in. But management didn't care. 3. Utter apathy: They literally don't care. Saying things on repeat like... - "I don't know" - "That's not my responsibility." - "That's property manager's job" (when asked to connect me with the PM, they ignored again.) - "I need to go home." - "Move out if you're that unhappy." I was met yesterday at their Ossining apartment location by the wife of "Ed" the super. She did not even say hello, just unlocked the door and stood there while I showed myself around. When I asked her about parking she just stared at me and mumbled something as I realized she could not speak English. In return, she just handed me the application and said "call". Aside from that awkward, unprofessional situation, the apartment was gross. The entire kitchen was falling apart, from the crooked cabinet doors to the peeling counter laminate and brown discolored stove. All the windows were covered in a thick coat of dirt and the back "deck" was a splintered, paint peeling disaster. DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING!!! read more

They will nickel-and-dime you when you move out!!! The building is inundated with mice, rodents, cochroaches, and other bugs. We caught at least 4-5 mice a week in traps that we set out in our apartment. The walls and floors are paper-thin.....you can hear every footstep that your neighbor takes, every conversation (or argument), and every other noise that a neighbor could make. Do not move into this apartment if you want privacy and a clean living environment! There are apartments on the same block that are much nicer, quieter, cleaner, cheaper, and dont have mice! read more

I do not recommend renting any apartment from this company, Keystone engages in business practices that maybe legal in New York State but not ethical. I rented a small one bedroom apartment and later found out I had four people living in the apartment above me , four people in 700 square feet is not reasonable. I've lived with excessive noise for 12 months that included being threatened by the tenant that I made 41 documented noise complaints against . I renewed my lease based on the promise the tenant was leaving- now I found out the tenant remains. Clearly Keystone does not value quality tenants and management cannot be trusted. read more

I completely disagree! I have been living in their building for over 5 years and love it here! I have never had a problem with any rodents or insects, in fact they keep their building pristine! The management company is very friendly and helpful. They are on top of their building, to say the least! read more
