This was an experience I will remember forever due to how eye-opening and helpful it was for recent severe anxiety. My first complaint is that when I got the invoice, I called with a billingquestion. I called on October 16th and they did not get back to me until October 23rd. The concerns I wanted to discuss were regarding my 2nd & 3rd appointments. I was billed significantly higher for the first appointment, which totally made sense because it was an evaluation. The other 2 appointments were not billed the same yet they were identical appointments. I was there for 1 hour and they put ice on my neck/back, they massaged it and they watched me do my exercises. The woman in billing (she was nice) said the notes stated that at one of the appointments it took me a few minutes longer to complete my exercises. I find this so sleezy. SO SLEEZY!!!! I was there for 1hr, no longer. Whether it took 18 or 22 minutes for the exercises, I was still there for 1 hour. They end with the massage so clearly that was cut short in order to get me out of there within 60 minutes. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place. I could never trust them as far as billing goes. Make sure to review yours closely.

Priyanka is the best! Very professional and knowledgeable. Kind and compassionate as well. The facility is very clean and they are good about sanitizing the equipment. Although a very open area, they respect your privacy if you need a procedure done. CPTE works well as a team. Though Priyanka was my main therapist, Leanne and Dave would help assist if needed. They are awesome too! Very professional and knowledgeable. They have a passion for what they do! And Dave, well you will know who he is when you start therapy, he will be heard singing in the background, and has a very good sense of humor as well, which lightens up the atmosphere. My 85 year old mother moved in earlier this year. It took us a couple of months to understand what…read moreis provided in an Assisted Living environment and what we needed to stay on top of on our own. The staff was patient and responsive, and now Mom has settled in nicely in her one bedroom apartment. We like the fact a nurse is on for 2 shifts and an assistant nurse for all 3 (during the late night shift the nurse is on call). Mom has a pendant she just needs to press anytime she needs assistance, and so far someone has been at her door within minutes. They provide laundry service (although residents can do their own if they like) and many other amenities such as assistance dressing and showering. The activities have just started up again. The food is outstanding. There is an extensive menu of items offered daily, as well as specials offered each day. They will tailor the meals for anyone having dietary restrictions. The monthly rent is around 7K, that includes meals, nursing, emergency button use, activities, cable, and other items. It's a relatively new building and is always clean and bright inside. The location is perfect, with Lowell General Hospital just down the road, and Market Basket and Marshalls are quite close, also. Compared to the other 2 Assisted Living options we investigated in the area, Saab was the best fit for Mom. They also have a plan where after paying 2 years of rent, should finances become such that she cannot pay any longer, they reduce the rent to the amount of social security less medical expenses. No apartment move is required. This is a huge plus as its an expensive option, however, good to know if times get tough, Mom won't get kicked out. The Director, Candace, runs a tight ship, is responsive and deals with any issues immediately. Kelly, the Resident Care Director, is also super responsive and is the type of person who gives me comfort Mom is well looked after. Randy handles the paperwork and billing and is always so pleasant to deal with. Moving a loved one to an Assisted Living environment is stressful, however, the team at Saab was always there to coach and guide us through the process and protocols. Mom is treated so well there, I highly recommend Saab to anyone looking for an Assisted Living facility.

Eight weeks later the full leg cast was removed and my leg came out like a noodle. I was nervous if I'd ever walk normally again. I was matched with Matt O'Rourke at St Jos rehab (Nashua NH) and he was the PERFECT fit for my severe injury!! He teaches PT at Simmons College in Boston and REALLY knows his stuff!! He is a great listener, observer and detail oriented with action plans. He gave me targeted exercise-homework after each visit which accelerated my progress. I entered PT in a wheelchair and four months later, I was able to fly to Europe (lots of walking) and a month after that, get on a boat to a remote Maine island for lots of hiking -- oh, and I was able to walk/hike 10K-16K steps a day on the trips. Those fears were quickly replaced when I met the smiling receptionists who welcomed me to their facility followed quickly by meeting Chris Forbes who was to be my therapist for the next five weeks. Chris was great! I went to my first session using a walker followed in a week by a cane and then in three weeks using nothing for external support. Chris was the consummate professional. challenging me to do more but never more than I could do. he was supportive and understanding . My fears of what rehab could be were quickly displaced and the results spoke for themselves. Have been coming to Elliot Rheumatology Associetes (Yelp prefers the secondary name of New…read moreHampshire Arthritis Center) since my then rheumatologist Dr. Lynch created the department when he merged his practice with the new Elliot River's Edge several years ago. He handpicked Drs. Marks and Mirza as his associates. Sadly, for me and a friend who went to him, Dr. Lynch retired in May, 2015. He passed my care to Dr. Mirza. I was supposed to meet her a couple weeks prior to my rotator cuff surgery in September, 2015, but her schedule had a conflict so they pushed me back a couple months. Eek! Post op I was having a lot of joint pain being off one of my meds for several weeks until any risk of infection was gone. Doesn't take long to come out of remission. I needed her blessing to go back on it, and she didn't want to do that without meeting me; they squeezed me in same day I called for help. I really liked her. She's straight forward without being condescending. Thorough and thoughtful in the questions she asks about meds and symptoms and is making some changes that seem to be working so far. Easy to upset the apple cart when tweaking dosages. She likes to chat, and we go off topic. As I often did with Dr. Lynch. Never feel rushed, and she doesn't keep me waiting for more than a few minutes, though I know her appointment schedule is jammed. She and Dr. Marks are trying to find another rheumatologist to join them; taking on new patients is almost impossible right now. Apparently there's a shortage in the country, so any med students out there with an interest in arthritis in its many different forms, please consider coming to Manchester, NH! The Rheumatology department shares incoming phone and fax lines with the Orthopaedics and Surgical Specialists department, so when you call, the automated system will identify both (it refers to Elliot Rheumatology Associates, not New Hampshire Arthritis Center in case someone is confused). Just follow the prompts to select your provider to make/change appointments, leave questions or request medication refills.
