Even called the house when I had to leave him there one time so we could discuss the next best course of action for Bubba and my wallet. We were able to hold of on blood work and ultrasounds, saving me hundreds for sure. It ended up he has kidney disease and weak muscles- poor boy! These people are all animal lovers- they want to help your baby, not pick your pocket. No unexpected expenses or tests. I will continue going there and have already recommended them to friends. I moved to Lincoln in August of 2021 and still kept my old veterinarian,Dr.Graham,from…read moreGreenville,R.I. because he was the best,but unfortunately retired and the clinic close up there.My pets last visit there was 04/13/2023.I started going to Lincoln Animal Hospital in 2024.I haven't been happy with them.My dog had been diagnosed with dry eye syndrone since 2018.The doctor here put my dog on Tacrolimus in Corn Oil 0.03% Ophth Solution for dry eye.I also had an ointment from my previos vet too for it(Neomycin and Polymyxin).I had been getting the different prescriptions,not just for my dogs eyes but Heartgard and Nexgard from their online pharmacy.Anyway,who doesn't like to compare and look for a better price(well maybe rich people).I found the dry eye medicines on Chewy.com for way less money.The both of the eye medicines put together that he needed were even cheaper than just one of theirs in their pharmacy.I ordered them from Chewy and I had to get the prescription from them to send to Chewy. I sent them them the screenshots of what I ordered and also talked directly to them.They called me and said I could pick them up.I drove there only to find out they were both not the right ones for what i ordered.One was suppose to be an ointment and it said solution but the person at the desk fixed that instantly and the other one was a little different than the last one they prescribed me but was still for the exact same thing for (dry eye).It was Cyclosporin in corn oil solution.Well she walked out to her hour lunch and I was told there was no guarantee she would even get to fixing it today.They did call me hours later to say that he would need another eye exam as the prescription wasn't the one that she had prescribed.I said look it up.The one I ordered from Chewy was for the exact same issue(dry eyes).She continued with the oh he has to be seen first.I said that is ridiculous,this is just a money grab.We already know he has dry eyes and you want me to come in to charge me for what we already know.As I spoke,I know I raised my voice a little,because it's upsetting that because I didn't want to use their online pharmacy to pay more,that they figured ok we'll make her bring him again to be checked and get our money,one way or another.Anyway whoever I was speaking with said, you're mean...and hung up on me.Well that didn't go well with me.I called them back and told whoever that I did not appreciate being told I'm mean and being hung up on so I will be going to a different Veterinarian and hung up on them.That is only one of the issues I have had with them making that one their final straw.They were trying to put on a muzzle on my JRT that was way too small just yesterday for his visit, that I also have to medicate the poor 16 year old dog for because they cannot handle him.My honey said,don't you have a bigger size,and low and behold,they opened a drawer full of them,and got the size that actually would fit him.They could not get it on and my honey had to put it on him.Also we request to go in for these visits when he has to get these Cytopoint shots because I swear one time I didn't go in that they never gave it to him.She took him from me and I didn't even get done paying and she brought him out.I said wow, that was fast and he didn't even yelp or anything and she said yeah he was a very good boy.He is never a good boy for them shots and he also itched like he never got it the whole month, so you tell me.My honey said I wouldn't be able to prove it, as I wasn't in the room with him so I never said anything.Another thing is I believe the dosage they prescribed for my 16 year old JRT of Gabapentin and Trazodone 50mg almost did him in.I cut the dose in half when I took him to have his nails cut at the groomer,which he also hates his nail being cut,and he did fine there.I just don't think this place truly cares about our pets,only getting their money...so beware!!

Hi. We took our dog to Sea Legs Integrative Vet in West Roxbury due to a torn ACL, arthritis, etc…read more and it was a very poor experience. Our pet had gone through rehab years before at a different location for a torn ACL on the other side and ultimately had surgery, but at his advanced age we decided not to do the surgery with its long recovery for this side. Session 1. The setting up of the initial appointment was great and the vet Dr. Jaclyn Coble was very responsive, fit us in right away. The staff were also very friendly. We went to the first appointment and the vet was examining our dog's knees and then went to do the Soundwave ultrasound on the wrong knee and when I pointed out that she had the wrong knee she said she thought that it had felt fine on that side (the side he has a titanium TTA in). I wondered why she was willing to do the procedure on a healthy knee. She made some comment about reading through his records, but I had not sent her his records. She proceeded and did the soundwave therapy on the now correct knee, but needed guidance from her vet tech, vet nurse on how to get the machine to work. Her examination on the wrong knee was $295 &$350 for the soundwave ultrasound for total charge for session I of $645 Session 2. We returned a week later to do rehab. First they did warm laser therapy. Then, they had our dog do an obstacle course, stand on an uneven surface. Finally, they had him use the underwater treadmill. While he was on the treadmill, they attached the neck collar at the front of the machine to him (there is nowhere for him to go as the treadmill walls are 4 feet high), but they had the treadmill going so slow that our dog was riding it to the back of the treadmill before he would walk and it was stretching on the collar so I very quickly untied the collar so that he did not get choked. No Session 3. We returned for the second soundwave session and the vet tech/nurse took us into the room and shaved his knee and they were going to start the procedure and I asked why the doctor was not doing it this time, if she was going to see him and they said that they were more than capable. I was not questioning if they were capable, but I did wonder how she would know if he was any better without seeing him. They went to get her and suffice it to say that it went downhill from there and we did not have the second soundwave and we will not be returning. I love my dog and I am willing to do anything to help him have a good quality of life, but this vet did not instill confidence, lied about reading his records, did not know what knee was injured, did not know how to use the machine, let them tie his collar on a moving machine and was either willing to do a procedure on a healthy knee or worse did not realize it was a healthy knee. We had done rehab with the first torn ACL, laser, water treadmill, obstacle/uneven surface so this isn't that the experience is new to us, but I have never felt such a lack of faith in a provider.

After a very negative report from the behaviorist at MSPCA, I explored a second opinion. Aubrey was so gracious to take the time to speak to me over the phone to talk about the potential approach, and I subsequently scheduled an initial assessment. I am SO glad I did. She was very hopeful for his situation, and also allowed me to talk to another client who had a similar situation as I was deciding whether I could keep this pup. Since then, we've been working together and have made so much progress with my dog. Admittedly the dog gets some of the credit because he is so quick and eager to learn (and is very food motivated). But I'm so grateful to have had the partnership with Aubrey to help him become more comfortable with different people, and learn certain techniques that can aid with grooming, the vet, etc. She also helped to recommend other resources (eg, fear free groomer), that have also been part of my pup's success story. And she's just wonderful to work with and very helpful with questions and advice.

The whole process was more than enjoyable, as we really felt part of the mother's (Sophie's) pregnancy with frequent updates. After that litter of pups was born, they were very communicative to all of the families who were slated to be the future homes for those pups. Once the pups had received their immunizations, we were able to visit them--wonderful! Sue and Roland were more than welcoming, and we really felt like part of their extended "dog family"--you can immediately sense the love of their own animals, and that trickled down to the adorable litter that their dog, Sophie, had delivered. They are very open to questions, and are transparent with information about health, care, etc. We are excited to hopefully get another Golden from them whenever the next litter arrives!
