During the grand opening period, there are free hotdogs and pop/water, catered by Gerard The Hot Dog Man. The hotdog was delicious. All their stores have the same big format, possibly bigger than a large Canadian Tire. There is a big retail store which houses their living room furniture, sleep furniture, and appliances (eg. kitchen), and electronics (eg. exercise machines, massage chairs). They also have furniture that can fit in small apartments/condos. They also have free self-serve hot drinks machine and freshly made popcorn. The popcorn starts 1 hour before the store opening to make the scent of popcorn linger throughout the entire store. There is also a children's playground area to keep them busy while the potential purchases can concentrate on buying (great strategy!). At the other end of the store, there is their outlet store. When discontinuing a product, it goes to this side of the store. All products there are new, but also discounted. The outlet store has a 0% interest 60-month payment plan. The nice thing about this chain is that everyone you deal with is their employee, not any third party, from sales, customer service, to delivery. The sales staff work on commission. You can purchase from any store and have it delivered or picked up from any of their stores. The sales staff are very courteous and pleasant. There store is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female/family washrooms, and all of them are wheelchair accessible. There is free parking in their large private parking lot. Review 2024-150

I call the store about a month and a half later and he didn't even tell the store about the remote. After waiting almost 2 months total he came with the remote and that was nit the problem. He said we will order another part and come back out. Four months later and not evenl a phone call. Because he was playing guessing games with what the chair needed and he couldn't figure it out I get Stonewalled. I would never do business with them again and would NEVER recommend them to anyone!! I don't believe it should be up to the customer to keep calling the store to find out where the order is. I will keep you posted for a final review with details, but this is a warning - sometimes saving money means sacrificing service! This will not show up on my lists until the review it complete. Today's update - called and talked to the owner of the store - he still can't promise a delivery date. Though it has been over two months now. He believes it can be delivered the first week of June and when I said we may cancel if it doesn't get delivered - he said he doesn't do returns for delivery because on the bill it states he cannot promise delivery dates. However, I'm not asking for a promised date I am asking to receive the goods ordered and may be taking him to court. I strongly suggest that you reconsider shopping at this place unless you have a lot of time to wait. I also don't think he is doing that well as he asked us to pay cash because he owed taxes - I should have stopped there, but he sweetened the pot by giving me more of a discount - again - a discount is only good if you end up with the goods! The saga continues ... Ok - we finally heard from the owner who told my wife that they'd deliver our bedroom set Saturday - but he couldn't promise a time. On Saturday - I called him. He answered his cell phone from NYC at 9:05 am and told me to call the store at 10:00 am and they'd be able to tell me approximate time. At 9:58 am my doorbell rang - I wasn't expecting anyone - so guess who shows up - yep - the delivery people. They were VERY understanding and didn't mind that we were not completely ready. They set up everything, took the old stuff and were on their way (with tip) after about an hour. They did a GREAT job - however - they are not store employees - obviously they are contracted! Overall - I have something to tell you. Every business can offer you two out of three things - the three things they can offer are: Price, Service and Quality. You get to pick two of them at most places. We picked quality and price - service absolutely suffered. Would I return - I seriously doubt it, but price these days means a lot. The rating remains 1 star because I'm still ticked about the horrible service!
