I don't trust a machine in the parking lot since I had one eat my card once and it took a month to replace. This machine was great since others make you hit the plus and minus for the bills of currency you want. This one just asked if you want all 20's or mixed currency to save you the hassle.

I am not a key customer but know they can cash their checks for a fee. long story short the lady must've taken her job too seriously. Checked my employers account for about 10 mins to see if it's legit....its LITERALLY a billion dollar corporation that she can clearly see, but I'll digress. By the end of her "investigation" she said she will not cash it. while giving me a list of reasons why... saying the signature ink didn't match the other ink, that a number looked scribbled out and re-written, that the signature did not match (which is ridiculous since it's a payroll checked signed by an authorized person to do so).. etc etc. Never asked for any form of identification or employer identification. I understand that it's up to the clerk's discretion, but she didn't fall short of making me feel like I was trying to conduct a shady transaction. Here is a thought! If I was trying to do dumb stuff why the heck would I go to the same bank my EMPLOYER uses? Or maybe she would have seen I was an employee if she asked for my credentials. If posting a picture of the check wasn't a dumb idea I would, to show the "discrepancies" she apparently saw. I hope her pillow is hot on both sides.

OMG-I never such a collection of stupid employees at one place before. I found it at Citizens Bank…read more For a year I kept getting pre-approved applications for a credit card-finally sent it in and was rejected. Never before been rejected for credit card or loans. All 3 credit agencies have me listed with an excellent credit rating. I figured since they didnt want to issue me the credit they had promised-they dont need my checking account either. Went up today and said I wanted to close my account and put it in a check. She immediately gave me cash. I said again I want it in a check, I dont want to carry that kind of cash around-she told me it would be $10-to get MY OWN money in a check. I told her to get the manager-she said he was not working-I said call him-she said she cant. I think her turban was would too tight-there was some sort of supervisor sitting in the office across the way-but she made no effort to get him. I told her I would take my money down the street to another bank, she just laughed and made NO EFFORT to keep the customer. The teller next to her had a problem too-his customers wanted to cash traveler checks. He said he had never seen them before and made a phone call to somebody to ask what to do with them. He asked the customers to wait while he called American Express-who issued the checks-to ask if it was ok if he cashed them. These were the 2 Idiots in the bank that had very apparently never been trained and did not mind looking like the fools they were. How sad it is to have a bank like that. When I left I shouted to the fool in the office-that never moved-how the bank sucked and so did its employees. He still never moved or questioned what was wrong. The whole bank is apposing customers and an embarrassment to the industry. Do not go here-if you know someone with and account, encourage them to close it to protect themselves. Stupid is as Stupid does here. Run the other way from these incompetents!

We bank at Citizens and they were sending us through the loops in order for my potty training three year old to use the restroom. Why can't we just use it? How hard is it for ANY employee to assist a customer with the restroom. Lost my business. Closing my accounts. And when i called they told me they were a family oriented bank. Bull!!!!

Save yourself the grief and deal with a company that communicates accurately and effectively. Stay…read moreaway from them! I had a perfect credit score ruined by their terrible practices. I was a HELOC customer and they charge an annual fee. Well looking at the statement it appears the annual fee is charged to the line of credit. Nope, they bill it individually but they include it as a line item on your statement. So when I paid $40 over my minimum it didn't cover the $65 fee. The following month exactly 30 days later my auto payment hit again and paid the remaining $20. This scumbag company reported me 30+days late to the credit bureau and collections for essentially money that was paid to them that day. I never got a call, a letter, or an email saying I was late. There was no notification on my dashboard when I signed in every month. But the made sure to smear me on the exact 30th day late on $20 despite being paid that day. It took days to get an answer and I had to spend a few hours sorting through statements piecing it together myself because nobody could tell me why and no management would return my call. Despite no late payments in 3+ years with them they couldn't remove the late mark as a courtesy. The basically said it was my fault and they don't owe any phone calls, or email, or notifications you are late. I got one call it was from the collections dept 1 month later. I returned the call immediately and he said he had no idea why he was contacting me and to disregard. That's the only call I ever got. Now I'm preparing to get a loan to start a business and I run a credit checo and find I was reported 60 day late to TransUnion. So now I'm disputing it. This company ruined my 10yr record of over 1k payments on time. Perfect credit screwed by this circus of a bank. I paid 2k extra the month before and an extra regular payment but it ment nothing. All I needed was to know I was past due and I would of paid them no problem. I'm now trying to figure out how to take them to small claims or anything to return the favor. I have an appointment with a consumer rights attorney next week. Save yourself the heartache and stress and avoid this place all together.
