Wow, we attended the SCORE event Saturday night. The team from the newspaper created a fantastic function to recognize the high school athletes in Monroe County. I'm sorry for those that missed it. read more

Great real newspaper. Expensive but quaint. And still available in coin boxes. The voice of the conch republic

I moved away and stopped my subscription on June 2. My account shows that it became effective on June 3 but on June 20, they charged me for another month of subscription service. Trying to access their page via the provided link takes me to another website. This is not the first time I've had a problem with subscription services. read more

This newspaper is terrible. When I read stories where I have personal knowledge of the facts they get it wrong. They publish gossip without verifying anything. You just can't trust what they print. read more

I would say this newspaper might be good for wiping my backside with but that would be an insult to the bowel movement I had. Easiest way in the world to find out if the news that is untrue, if you read it in the Citizen it's probably untrue. I have called to place classified ads in there, spent a lot of money and even their advertising staff is out right rude. Do you self a favor and listen to the bar room gossip in Key West. It's a lot more accurate than the sad excuse for a newspaper. read more
