Sharon & the staff at KeyLore have been taking care of my pets for more than 10 years in so many ways. We've used their day care services, training, boarding, grooming, special workshops (scent work and barn hunt) and sadly, cremation services. Sharon has helped to show me problems (both social and physical) that my dogs had and give us guidance about how to resolve them. With our 2nd basset hound, Chip, he started going to daycare with our other basset hound when he was just a pup. At 6 months old, he had a seizure while at daycare. They promptly called me at work to see if I wanted to come and go to the vet with them or have them take him to a local vet without me. When I got there, Sharon had my boy in her lap, soaking wet using wet towels to try to cool him down and soothing him. She rode in the car with me, in the backseat, holding my boy while I took us to the vet. She stayed with me and him to listen to what the vet said and help us make decisions. I would have been an absolute wreck that day without her help and I'll never forget it. Eventually, Chip's seizures got worse and he ended up on medication for them. He is now 8.5 years old and also has Cushing's disease. The staff at KeyLore pays close attention to his disease when he boards or goes to daycare. They meet his water needs, watch for any med needs. They know what to do if he has a seizure or if he has issues with his Cushing's. Besides one close family friend, there is no one else that can take care of Chip for us and we are grateful for KeyLore. I also have a rescue mixed breed hound who came to me without any training, manners, or confidence. We used the Stay & Train program at KeyLore and Sharon worked with my dog to improve her confidence and find a training style that would work well for her. Then, she trained me to do it myself!! Tilda has really blossomed under the care and training at KeyLore. Without it, she would have been a neurotic mess and I'm so happy that our village was able to turn her into a calm, confident, fun family companion. It has really taken a village to raise that dog up from the shell that she was coming out of rescue and foster and I'm eternally grateful to the crew at KeyLore for their help with that. I've always been satisfied with the services at KeyLore and would never hesitate to recommend them to a friend. read more
