I called Kev earlier this week to make an appointment for an interior detailing. After some back and forth about a time that would work for the both of us, and with a little attitude from Kev, we finally agreed upon a day and time. I should have known right then...He requested I hang up and call back to leave a voicemail with my name, number, address and time of appointment. All good. Saturday morning comes around, it's drizzling. I ran out to my car, about a half hour before he was to arrive, to clean out some personal items so he can start as soon as he gets to my home.
My appointment was scheduled for 9am. 9:05 rolls around, 9:15, 9:20, I call Kev. He seemed to have forgotten about my appointment at first but quickly tried to recover, stating "I was his next call" it's 9:20, as his first appointment at 9am, you would think I would have been his first call at 8 or 8:30 to inform me what he said next...it's raining so he can't do it.
He said if the rain clears, he can come later. Unfortunately, I can't sit around my house all day waiting to see if the rain would clear.
I am writing this review to inform Kev, he needs to give customers a heads up of weather conditions...if he sees rain in the forecast or even if he doesn't, during your scheduling phone call, he should inform you of the different situations which can affect your appointment.
Also, don't wait until the last minute to tell your customer you're not coming and make them call you 20 minutes after your scheduled time to see where you are.
I was having my car detailed for a reason and now it won't be done. read more
