It seems that they are still touting this falsity. This was not accurate, as my insurance PA was approved and insurance paid their share with a different surgeon despite not having 12 months of continuous therapy. No where in my policy did it state this was necessary, and this was confirmed by the insurance company. Not only was this an inaccurate statement, but it was insisted upon in an extremely rude manner, as if I or my insurance company did not know what we were talking about. I'm not sure why they insisted and continue to insist that this was/is true when it factually was/is false. It's one thing to have an office policy that patients must undergo 12 months of therapy to schedule surgery, but do not lie and say that this is a requirement when it's not. Alan Dulin or the AIfPS also doesn't appear in the bcbs blue card PPO provider directory, which might indicate that he/the practice is not actually in network with bcbs PPO plans. Lastly, pictures were taken during my consult, which did not happen with my actual surgeon. When I asked him why he didn't take pictures, he said that wasn't a standard experience during a consultation. In retrospect and after the negative experience with their insurance coordinator, that made me uncomfortable. Would have made more sense to do this before surgery when I was a confirmed patient.

I don't write many reviews, but this team earns it…read more The last few year handed me more stress than I'd planned for, and my face kept the receipts. When I relocated from Southern California, I needed someone to help put Humpty Dumpty back together again -- and I'd been around enough aesthetic practices over the years to know how this usually goes: you sit down, and suddenly everything on your face is a "problem area" with a syringe attached to it. Dr. Ho is the opposite of that. From the first consult, his approach was conservative and thoughtful. No pressure, ever. He doesn't chase individual spots -- he looks at the whole face: structure, balance, how light and shadow actually work on you. It's more architecture than cosmetics, and as a guy who wanted "better," not "different," that mattered. What sold me was the long-term plan. We didn't try to fix everything in one visit. We worked in phases, letting each step settle before deciding if the next step was even needed. More than once, Dr. Ho told me to leave an area alone because it already looked good. Think about that -- a provider talking himself out of revenue. That's when you know every recommendation is about the outcome, not the invoice. The results: significant, and completely natural. Friends and colleagues tell me I look rested. Refreshed. Not one person has asked if I had anything done. That's the whole game -- you should just look like the best version of yourself, like you finally started sleeping and drinking water. It even netted me a new headshot & profile pic! The team deserves a mention too. The entire office is professional, welcoming, patient, and genuinely invested from start to finish. Every visit felt like they were glad I was there. If you want facial harmony, balance, and natural results -- instead of trends or that overfilled look -- go see Dr. Ho. All the king's horses couldn't have done it better.

A complete rip-off and not worth it. The doctor wasn't even that friendly or welcoming and she presented uncomfortable vibes. So no I wouldn't dare get surgery done here and would rather go elsewhere. Other than the lying about the consult fee my biggest issue is below. On March 15 and again on March 21, I made requests for my medical records. My interaction with Jennifer Castro regarding this matter was unsatisfactory. Transcarent, a company utilized by my employer, sought access to my medical records, prompting Jennifer to inquire whether I had granted permission for them to receive the records. Despite confirming my consent, Jennifer expressed her belief that it was unethical for Transcarent to make such requests, citing negative reviews of the company. Despite my insistence, Jennifer refused to release the records to Transcarent, insisting that they could only be sent to me. She requested a signed letter matching the signature on file before releasing them. After waiting for days without receiving the records, I followed up with Jennifer, only to discover that she had sent them to the wrong email address, displaying incompetence on her part. Additionally, her unprofessionalism, including criticism of my choice of surgeon and the quality of her company's services, was unwarranted. Despite her tenure, Jennifer's rude behavior warrants attention and resolution.

From the very beginning, Dr. Young and her staff truly listened to my concerns and patiently answered all the questions I brought to my consultation. When I called the office, they immediately accommodated me with another consultation where Dr. Young addressed everything in detail. I had my procedure on 11/13/2024, and Dr. Young did an exceptional job. Her follow-up care has been outstanding, and her bedside manner is one of the best I've ever experienced. She genuinely cares about her patients, and it's easy to see why she's considered one of the top plastic surgeons in Texas. My results exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier that she was my surgeon. The office staff is equally amazing. I came in because I had an important interview and wanted help with the "11" lines between my brows. During the consultation, Dr. Lam told me that much of the wrinkling in my forehead was caused by ptosis, a condition I did not know I had. He showed me with Upneeq drops. The before and after was taken from the same angle, about 10 or 15 minutes apart. He was right. My forehead had been working to lift my upper eyelids, and it explained the lines, the tension, and the tired look around my eyes. He offered surgery as one option and Upneeq as another. Because my interview was that week, the drops made sense. The office knew about the interview. We talked about it. We even joked about using the drops for it. I ordered the Upneeq. I thought it would go to my pharmacy because the intake form asked for my pharmacy information. After I paid, I learned it was being shipped to my home from New Jersey. I live in Texas. My interview was in 5 days. I called and asked if anything could be done. I was told no. I called again and asked whether I could buy one or two vials for my interviews while I waited for the shipment. I was still told no. I was not asking for anything free. I was asking for help with the same issue I had just been diagnosed with, for the same interview everyone knew I was preparing for. That is what disappointed me. The visit felt caring. The follow through did not. After seeing the difference the drops made, I felt more self-conscious than when I walked in. I left knowing there was something that could help me look more awake and less strained for my interview, but I could not get even a small bridge supply in time. I will be going into that interview tomorrow feeling like I am at a disadvantage without the eyedrops for the ptosis I had just been diagnosed with. Dr. Lam may be right about the diagnosis. The staff may be kind in the room. But when I needed help after the appointment, I felt alone and unsupported when I really, really needed the help.
