I went in,still on hold. No one waiting in waiting room. A woman working,only person behind reception desk area was standing at copy machine making copies. I was still on hold ,had my phone in hand. She saw me and ignored me. I said hello and she replied, " I'll be with you in a minute " acted annoyed by my presence.i stayed polite. After her making copies and still leaving me standing I asked if I could please get a print up of my diagnosis from my last visit,tome date.... She said yes and it cost 30.00. I asked how can that cost 30.00 when she can just print it up? She said ,that's what the charge is. I said nevermind I'll just get one from my primary Dr that they sent it over to her. She shrugged shoulders. I said ,as I held my phone up " I'm on hold on your office phone ,I'd called 25 minutes ago and you put me on hold and STILL on hold as you do this and you don't even see what you could help me with real quick and just leave the phone on hold". I said ,I was in office 2 weeks ago for 11am appointment and sat and didn't check out until 330 pm. 15 minutes tops with the doctor. That's 4hours 15 minutes waiting.Then you put me on hold and I drive out here and see what you're doing and you treat me like this? I will NEVER EVER step foot in that office again. Unprofessional,rude ,non caring ppl that are working in the medical office.Im thankful I have self controle or I'd be in a whole mess of trouble. I should of video recorded this and emailed to the doctor. No one cares anymore. Even medical field. It's sad and pathetic.

Thank you to Nora and Tommy for the excellent care and laughs to keep her nerves down. Discharge instructions were thoroughly reviewed and all of my questions were answered completely. The staff, nurses, clinicians aids whoever treated me like a person, not just another patient. They were all knowledgeable, efficient and just downright nice. I had a great toe fusion January 2024. Dr Mosier Laclair was not thorough in her explanation of my…read moresurgery. I was not informed about the long recovery time or parts of the surgery that were performed. I was given a nerve block with no prior knowledge of what they were doing. She did NOT manage my pain after surgery. I was told to call my family Doctor. Really? She said another medication I take was interfering with the pain medication. She treated me like a drug addict who was trying to scam pain medication and kept yelling that she could lose her job. She had a list of my medications but never mentioned that before surgery. I have had other surgeries and my pain was always managed by the Doctor who preformed the surgery with no interference from my other medications. Dr. Mosier does not seem to care at all about the problems I had during the recovery or now. I just recently had 2 screws removed from the surgery site that were causing pain. This is also common but I was not informed of the possibility of another surgery to remove screws. I'm still in pain and now she says it may be due to my high arch. Seems to me she should have considered and discussed that prior to surgery. She made sure to point out that she did the surgery correctly and it turned out just great. X-rays confirm and it has healed properly as far as she's concerned. In the ortho Michigan office I felt like a number not a name. I never once felt cared for by staff or the doctor I chose, more of an inconvienience. I do not recommend Dr Susan Mosier LaClare.

This doctor was very clear with her description and met with me a second time to answer questions/concerns I had about this. The second time, I did have to wait a bit, but I expect that since she is one of the few foot/ankle specialists in the area. The hospital staff clearly have great respect for her, which is important to someone like myself that has had a career in the medical field. The surgery went fine. It'll be three months since surgery in a week, and I am further ahead than I anticipated and already better than prior to surgery. I would definitely recommend this physician for any foot/ankle issues.

When I asked for both the nurse manager and house manager she commented come on stop it, it was just a joke, it in fact was not a joke and I was not there to play last time I was there they broke laws I also told them I wanted to make a formal complaint they said there was not a way to do that I also told them I wanted it written in my chart the nurse commented she was not there when it happened this visit was horrible unprofessional and unacceptable I would not recommend my dog there I also asked the nurse for her name and she refused to give it to me. They gathered in the small room like 4 different times and closed the door this was poor service and poor bedside manors
